Sasural Genda Phool fame Akkshay Sethi has decided to take the plunge. The actor will tie the knot with Bhagyashree Talware, a chartered accountant in a low-key ceremony. The couple will host a reception in their hometown Nasik on the evening of December 9.
In an interview with BT, Akkshay talks about the big day and shares, “It’s an arranged match. Our fathers have been friends for several years and they were planning to meet for a long time. Bhagyashree and her family came to Mumbai last month. That’s when I met her and we liked each other. Everything fell into place and we got engaged on October 19. Like our engagement, our wedding will also be held in Nasik.”
He adds, “I am not in touch with many actors, as lately, I haven’t been working actively. Besides, I am an introvert, too, and take my time to befriend people. I have invited a few actors, who I am thick with and am expecting them to attend my big day (smiles).”
Akkshay who was last seen in Divya Drashti, always wanted to marry someone from a different profession. He shares, “I wanted someone with whom I could talk about things other than acting. Bhagyashree is a CA and is also one of the directors of her family’s construction business. Both of us are very simple and I think that’s what we liked about each other.”
