Scene 1:
Location: In the temple
The bharadwaj family cant believe that simar has been shot. Simar falls on the ground, prem rushes to her screaming fircely. he takes simar’s head in his lap, saying that he wont let anything happen to her. The police take viru away. simar loses consciousness almost. She calls out saying, premji and then goes unconscious. Roli is berserk. The whole family is shocked. Viru calls out to roli saying that he would comeback to take her and asks her to wait for him. As sid runs after viru, roli tells him to call for an amubulance instead. Mataji asks prem to take her to the hospital. Khushi thinks happily that before going viru did one good thing, and thats to finish simar.

Location: Police station
Viru is put behind the bars where he is reprimanded by the inspector who is determined that he would teach viru a lesson for life. Viru looks at him with rage thinking that jail cant change the destiny of viru and that only he would control his fate.
Scene 4:
Location: In the hospital
Mausiji convinces that the goddess has never disappointed them and neither would she do this time, and asks mataji to be patient. Sujata and karuna too pray and say that today also goddess would have to save their simar and not let anything happen to her. Roli thinking about the incident again, screams as to why simar faced the bullet that was meant for her. sid says that nothing would happen to her sister, and she would be alright. Roli breaks down saying that simar had in fact promised that she would not let anything happen to roli, and it is because of her that this happened to simar. Sid tries to comfort her, but in vain. mataji says that she cant see roli like this. mausiji asks her to b calm so as to have the courage to support the rest of the family.
Sid gets naina’s call on her mobile but keeps cancelling it, as naina keeps trying. She wonders why is he cancelling her call. sid finally leaves roli and steps aside, and roli wonders what happened. She goes over to ask sid as to what happened, but is distracted by prem, dishevelled shouting at every nurse and wardboy trying to get info about simar.
When the doctor comes out, on the increased insistence of bharadwaj family, he tells that simar is in a critical state and they cant give a definite answer right now. Prem asks him not to say things like this and save simar somehow. The doctor says that he’s trying his best to save simar and excuses himself. Mataji thinks that goddess cant do this, that aftre giving them everything back, she cant take simar from them. She is cursing her helplessness.
All of a sudden, she starts walking towards one end of the hospital, and mausiji and other ladies follow her to see what is she upto. she enters the temple with anjali in her lap and all of them start praying, while mataji, after giving anjali to sujata, too humbly starts praying. sujata says that simar’s a daughter, wife but on top of it all, she’s a mother to anjali, and she needs her mother to be wih her right now. Mataji lights an earthen lamp. Sid is trying to pacify both roli and prem.
While the whole family is praying desperstely for simar to be alright, the doctors try their level best to revive simar, but she is giving a constant flat line, on her monitors, even aftre they try electric defibrillation, much to prem’s surprise. The operation finishes. Mataji and the others are surprised to see that earthen lamp, going off while they are praying, considering it to be a bad omen. The screen freezes on mataji’s shocked face.
Precap: The doctors tells them that he tried his best to save simar, but its beyong them to save simar now. The whole bharadwaj family is shocked and distraught to hear this.
