The citizenship amendment bill has created a division of opinions in the entire nation. The videos and pictures from the Jamia Millia Islamia University in Delhi are disturbing and are standing in our faces with a big question mark.
Many Bollywood and television personalities have voiced their opinions on the same and expressed their rage on the social media. Following the row, Savdhaan India’s narrator Sushant Singh was a part of the protests. And it has been alleged that due to his participation in the protests, the makers have asked him not to be a part of Savdhaan India anymore.
He has been a part of the protests and today on his Twitter handle, he announced his exit from the show. His tweet read, “And, my stint with Savdhaan India has ended.” One activist even took to his handle and shared a picture of Sushant who is seen with the protesters. He wrote, “Good to see @sushant_says come out in support. Also, the protesting students kept the focus on #CAA and police excesses in #Jamia and #AMU. A speaker trying to make it Cong vs BJP was asked not to venture there.”
And, my stint with Savdhaan India has ended.
