Actress Sayantani Ghosh who recently got married to her beau Anugrah Tiwari tested positive for COVID. Sayantani confirmed the news in an interview with BT and shared, “Yes, when the entire world was stilling ringing in 2022, I got to know that Anugrah and I were COVID-19 positive, I never thought I’d begin my new year like this!”
Sayantani was shooting on the sets of Tera Yaar Hoon Main, when she felt body pain. The actress talked about it and shared, “There was terrible body pain with cramps. After fever I got myself tested. And the result came out positive. I got married a month ago and reported back to shoot immediately, so I didn’t get to spend much time with Anugrah. We have moved to a new house and I hadn’t been able to furnish it properly as there was no time to go shopping. Since Anugrah and I were both quarantined together in our new house -there was a lot that we could do. During this time, we cooked together, enjoyed our lunches and dinner together, binged watched a lot of shows and films on streaming platforms. Maybe this was God’s way of giving us an opportunity to spend some quality time together. We even decorated our home the way we wanted to and loved the entire experience.”
Sayantani has now tested negative and is all set to resume work soon. “Both of us have recovered now, there’s slight body pain, but overall, am much better and there’s no fever. I am looking forward to going back to work,” she concludes.
