Sayli Salunkhe is widely recognized for her role as Vandana in Rajan Shahi’s show “Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si,” where she starred opposite Mohit Malik. Despite her compelling performance, the show ended on March 12, 2024, due to low TRP ratings. Sayli quickly moved on, landing a lead role in the series “Pukaar.”
In a candid interview with the Free Press Journal, Sayli Salunkhe shared insights about her personal life and addressed link-up rumors. She also criticized the trend of actors publicizing their personal lives on social media.
Sayli expressed her views on the matter, saying, “Actors often feel the need to constantly update their relationship status, share their problems, and reveal intimate details about their lives.” She emphasized that, unlike many others in the industry, she prefers to keep her personal life private, focusing instead on her work and performances.
Sayli also addressed rumors linking her to IPL star Ruturaj Gaikwad, clarifying that they share a close friendship. She expressed concern that such speculations could harm their friendship. “I don’t want people to recognize me for my personal life or speculate about my relationships. My only goal is to be recognized for my work, the quality of my performances, and the effort I put into my craft,” Sayli asserted. She added that she will share details about her personal life on social media only when she feels comfortable doing so.
Sayli Salunkhe’s journey in the entertainment industry began with regional language shows, where she received significant acclaim. She made her Hindi TV debut with “Mehendi Hai Rachne Wali,” playing Keerti Rao. Following that, she took on a role in “Spy Bahu” and then starred opposite Karan V Grover in “Bahot Pyaar Karte Hai.” After the conclusion of that series, she was cast as the lead in “Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si,” alongside Mohit Malik.
