Scene 1
Sethji says I fix my son Baaji’s marriage with Sandhya. Baaji is my pride. He won’t ever go against me.
Baaji says to Pragati I fell in love with you the moment I saw you. Pragati says what? Are you out of your mind?
Pragati says that is the problem of you villagers. A girl smiles and you fall for her? What do you know about me? Nothing. Still I talked to you and considered you a friend. It was my mistake. Uttara shows Sethji a dress. Sethji says this is so pretty. It will look so good on Sandhya. I can’t believe baji is so grown up. We have found such a good girl for him.
Pragati is walking outside. She recalls what Raghu said. She sees Sandhya talking to someone. Sandhyay says to Nagesh you sent me to devsu to do all that drama so she gets me married to someone in devsu. She fixed my marriage with her son. And he said yes as well. Nagesh says you have to act like this poor girl till we accomplish our mission. You have to ruin that Baaji’s life. Pragati says who is this man? Why are they planning all this against baaji?
Baaji is in his room. He recalls everything pragati and sethji said. He is in tears. He holds his head. Raghu comes in and says why are you sad? I know everything. Control yourself. Baaji says no I am fine. Raghu says you have grown up so much? You are going to make a sacrifice in one day? Baaji says what sacrifice? Raghu says for years people have taken care of this devsu and sethji is most responsible for it. We are sethji’s sons. We have to sacrifice the most of devsu. Baaji says why are you saying that? Raghu says you have taken a grand decision. You are getting married. Find your harmony in it.
Precap-Sandhya comes in the palace. Sethji says how dare you come here? Pragati says wasn’t getting your son hundred belts enough for you that now you want to get him married? Sethji says enough. Pragati says you can’t rule me or order me with you sethji title.
