- When Frank saw his principal , he couldn’t believe his eyes. His mom was there talking with Sir. Frank imagined why she has come all the way to his college. His mom turned to him with red eyes. “Frank, Let’s go home” Frank went with her , unable to understand why her behavior is strange.
- They reached their home. Frank got out of the car but stopped just infront of the main door. His mom came from behind and said, “He will rest in peace”
- How did he die? Was Frank’s first question. “Doctors said it’s because of a sudden shock. I am not surprised. After all he was not that much strong too.” Frank’s dad mumbled. “That’s strange.. Grandfather is the strongest” Frank thought.
- His mom understood his feelings and tried to console him.
After the funeral….
- Their family lawyer was talking with Frank’s dad, Andrew. Frank was not interested in listening to him but stayed as his mom wanted him to be there.
- Frank and Andrew were sitting on a sofa while the lawyer was in front of them explaining about Grand father’s properties and last wish. Frank looked aside frowning.
- “He has left this note for your son.” It was the lawyer. Frank was surprised. “Why would his grandfather leave a note to him? Maybe some kind of advise”
- Frank was not interested in it. Andrew now asked for that note and read it with a low voice.
It simply said, “Shadow is your gift. Leave this house within a week of my death”
