He says that he never wanted a big fat wedding, even though his parents did want them to have one, but he likes things simple.
As for reports about the two expecting their first child, the actor says, ”Let’s not talk about it. It is too early to comment.’‘
About wanting to explore other mediums, the actor says that he has done television for a decade and he is at ease when he does characters on TV since it gives him the time to work on it, rehearse and connect with the masses. He says that he still misses his unit for Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke. He added, ”It is a connect you build when you work together for 12 hours every day. I feel TV actors hardly have a social life because we are busy working.”
About working in the middle of a pandemic, and if he has his apprehensions. Shaheer said that he is anxious given shoots are being cancelled and people are testing positive. However, he added that the shows are entertaining people during the current situation and he is glad to see the makers do a fantastic job. He also feels that he makes a living out of acting and he always believes in giving his best irrespective of the situation.
