Shakti Arora talks about his life post Kundali Bhagya
Shakti Arora who is known for his role in Kundali Bhagya has bid his farewell to the show after the 20-year leap. The actor who replaced Dheeraj Dhoopar in August 2022 essayed the role for only seven months in the show.
Shakti talked about it in a recent interview and said, “Initially when I was offered the show, I was not sure if I wanted to do Kundali Bhagya. I felt that it had already been running for six years and I felt that any show after five years reaches a saturation point. But, when I started shooting, I realized that I had a lot to do. I had heavy-duty action scenes and was also portraying a grey role. Everything was going well when suddenly the makers decided to take a 20-year leap and that meant I would have to play father to grown-up children. I am not ready to play father to grown-ups because then I would not have much to do in the show. So I decided to quit.”
He added, “As Karan, I could have done a lot more in the show. The love story too was not explored. My forte is romance and action and so I was hoping that the writers would focus on that. But it is the channel and makers’ decision, so I am okay with it.”
Shakti also talked about his future plans and shared that hopes to bag different kinds of roles now. “I have done a lot of romance in my career and wish to do more thrilling and fast-paced roles. I am hoping that in the future, I am able to crack a TV show or OTT or a film role, which will help me explore more in my career,” he concluded.
