Shakti Arora is one of the most prominent names in the entertainment industry, with a massive fan following. Over the years, the actor has consistently demonstrated his acting prowess with remarkable performances. Recently, during a podcast hosted by Faheem Bhat, Shakti Arora shared insights into his life experiences, career, childhood, and dedicated fanbase.

Known for his talent and good looks, Shakti Arora has garnered fans worldwide. In his conversation with the podcast host, he revealed that he often had to hide his face in public places, yet fans would still recognize him. He recounted his time in Indonesia, where his fan following was even more extensive than in India.

Recalling a particularly shocking fan encounter in Indonesia, Shakti said, “Literally, kapde fatt jaate the humare. Nikalna mushkil hota tha. Muje aisa lagta tha humne TV pe sirf ek show kiya hai usme itne fame ki kya zarurat.”

He continued, “But vaha par bohot fame tha. Matlab ghadi, sunglasses sab nikal lenge, jacket fatt ke bahar aa jayegi. Jab tak stage pe pochte, aadhe kapde toh fatt chuke hote the (laughs).”

Discussing the challenges of the television industry, the Kundali Bhagya star shared, “Earlier, the shows used to have a minimum of two to three years of shelf life. Now, the minimum life is one or two months. If the show hasn’t gained enough TRP, it wraps up in three months.”

Shakti elaborated, “So, it’s risky to do a new show because if that doesn’t work, then even your career’s pack up can happen. This is because you were unable to prove your mettle, and that is why doing long-running shows is important.”

He recalled working on successful, long-running shows like Kundali Bhagya and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, which have maintained their popularity over time.

Shakti Arora commented on how social media has affected the entertainment industry, explaining that fame can be short-lived in today’s world. He mentioned that television still holds significant reach and influence, sharing an anecdote about how people, including beggars on the street, would call him “Ishaan sir,” referring to his character from Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, instead of his real name.

He also disclosed that he had walked out of film projects midway because he found them less engaging compared to television shows.

On the professional front, Shakti Arora was last seen playing the role of Ishaan Bhosale in the hit show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. His journey in the entertainment industry continues to inspire many, as he navigates the challenges and triumphs of being a television star.

With his candid revelations and insights, Shakti Arora offers a glimpse into the highs and lows of a career in the entertainment industry, highlighting the importance of adaptability and resilience in the ever-evolving world of television
