Hi guys ! No misunderstanding, I love SHAKTI and like everyone else I love Herman as a character is the guy next door, with each episode it like he is the friend we know so well, we feel his pain, we understand his decisions even if don’the always agree with him. He is so perfectly imperfect, we all love his flaws just like we love his dedication, no one argue with that. And we when we say Harman we think VIVIAN ( and the other way around). And it’s because of Vivian’s outstanding performance and his great acting skills that I am writing this article.
When it started in June 2016, the serial SHAKTI was so promising, a very disturbing bold subject that picked everybody’s interest. Till one all we had is Preeto’s madness, the whole family hatred and everyone turning to a bad or greedy person, it’s like Soumya cast a spell on them just by her existence.
A kinnar as a bahu is a tough matter. But you can not just use the life a struggling community to make a hit show ? I can denie there is a positive impact, Soumya had/have a supporting loving mother, grandmother and a sister (most of kinnar are rejected by their families), and the show points at how people treat kinnars in the worst ways. But that’s not enough… I know we all want a beautiful love story, so some of us keep hoping for a big case for mistaken identity, and Soumya will turn to be a normal (I hate to use the word normal here) girl.
But still why not introduce some medical advice (Harman is motivated enough to allow for that to happen and his love motivation compensate his lack of education. Or just introduce some kinnar who really succeed in their lives (I mean real successful person) to show there is hope for every human being…

i don’t like shakti anymore!! become very boring for me at least
For me it’s like a new common story, so I just put it in hold, I just read the precap (not even the whole writing update) and I still have hope they could get it in good track.
May be you didn’t notice. In the combined episode with Savitri Devi Hospital, Soumya had taken medical advice and it wad suggested that she could become a female but Harman refused saying that that was not needed.
Thank u, That’s a good thing ( I was taking a break from watching it), but not enough considering the number of episodes. But I’m really glad, if they speed up things I talk about the difference between the babies born with such congenital problems and the transgenders who can feel their own mixed up identity when growing up ( sorry it’s a sensitive issue and not easy to use just any words)
