Shani 15th May 2017 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Sometimes you have to take a step back to pave your path. It does not mean one backs off from his duty. Shani gives everyone their Karamfal at the right time!
Epi begins with Chhaya saying Shani’s karma is above any relation for him. Shani will never come here. Shani enters just then and calls out to his mother shocking Chhaya. Sanghya asks Chhaya what she just said. Please repeat. Chhaya asks Shani why he is here. Shani replies that son stays where mother stays. I have come to be with you. Sanghya asks him if he forgot everything after getting his mother. Your vow, your duty, everything? You vowed never to return in Dev Loka. Shani says kid can go to any extent for his mother. I know what you have in your mind. You want to torture my mother. I wont let it happen! Sanghya taunts their relation. It is the perfect example of a mother son relationship. My eyes are welled up, see? She smiles. I will allow you to stay here but on one condition. You have to pay a price for gaining everything. You will have to pay the price. You can stay in some corner of Surya Loka with your mother if you wish to but you will have to renounce your position of Karamfaldata in exchange. You cannot cast your evil eyes on anyone, neither in Dev Loka nor Mrityu Loka. Do you agree?
Chhaya tells Shani against it. Don’t agree. Your duty is much more important than me. The mission, for which Mahadev created you, is more important. Sanghya leaves Shani with two choices – mother’s love or Mahadev’s mission! Shani recalls his vow that he had made to Mahadev (stay away from any relation or bondage). Memories with his mother flash before his eyes. He kneels down before his mother and folds his hands. Mother is above Mahadev. I stood against Mahadev when I lost you. I am ready to renounce Mahadev’s motive to gain her back. He promises not to cast his Drishti on anyone from now on. He renounces his position of Karamfaldata. I also let go of all the duties associated with that position. He lets go of his weapon which disappears in the air.
Narayan asks Mahadev what will happen now. Devi Sanghya dint do right. Mahadev points out that in his eyes, it was Shani who dint do the right thing.
Chhaya asks Shani about what he just said. He replies that he is ready to renounce many such positions to be with her. They share a hug. Now that we are together, I wont let you go away from me at any cost. Chhaya too says the same in reply. Sanghya tells them to end this now. I allowed you to stay in any corner of Surya Loka and not do any drama in Surya Sabha. Shani tells her to keep all this to herself. These people cannot value my mother’s presence. It is enough for me that my mother is with me. I don’t need your pity. Sanghya says I don’t know why I dint create her again earlier. Take her away from Surya Loka. I know where you both will go though. Remember that there was only darkness in Chhaya’s life and it shall remain the same way. Take her back to the same darkness from where you both came. I will be happy when you will go away. Shani warns her not to utter another word. She asks him if he will cast his Drishti on her. You have renounced your position. Look down now. Surya Dev tells her it is enough. You may have created Chhaya but don’t forget that I have accepted her as my wife. She tries to object but he tells her to be quiet. He apologizes to Chhaya for whatever happened. Your right is yours though. You can stay wherever you wish to. I will accept it. Chhaya thanks him. Till now I was only a quiet statue, a Chhaya with no identity. Thank you for accepting me and for allowing me to make a choice. I would like to stay with my son if I may choose. We still have some broken pieces left in our life. I would like to join them together and live with him, only if Devi Sanghya allows. Sanghya gives in. Chhaya thanks Surya Dev. Chhaya extends his hand towards Shani who happily holds her hand. They both walk out from there hand in hand.
Shani and Chhaya are in jungle. They reminisce the old times. Shani says I don’t need anything else now. I don’t need or fear anything or anyone now. Wait here. I will get food. He goes.
Yami tells Sanghya she is ashamed to be her kid. I wonder why I dint take birth from Chhaya Mata! She never distinguished between me, Yam and Shani. Why can’t you accept her then? Sanghya says I am ashamed to have gotten a kid like you. I agree I wasn’t here to teach you how to talk but it doesn’t mean you can raise fingers at me. You want Shani to cast a Drishti on me and hurt me? Yami replies that everyone has to bear the fruits of their Karma. A mother does not just teach kids how to talk. She also gives good upbringing. I am here talking to you because it was Chhaya Mata who has raised me well. Yam tells her to stop. You don’t talk badly to your loved ones because of strangers. Surya Dev puts an end to the discussion. He advises Yami not to point fingers at elders
Surya Devs tops Sanghya. You created Chhaya again just so you could escape Shani’s Drishti. Shani dint do it. Why did you force him to renounce his position then? She shares that she had promised him (pointing at Indra Dev).
Shani notices his mother lost in thoughts. What happened? She says I agree a kid needs nothing more than his mother but change is constant. You cannot and must not break it. The moment we have spent together was our past. We have to be prepared for future. Life is like a flowing river. It is of no use if it stops flowing, just like mine. Shani accepts it. What’s the point of the life which changes the relation between a mother and son? I have chosen you as my future. Moments spent with you are more important than anything else for me. Chhaya calls herself lucky. I am blessed to have a son like you. He says the same for himself. I am lucky to have a mother like you. They share a hug.
Narayan points out that the balance of Karma will sway if Shani sways from his path. It is very important to bring Shani back on his path. Mahadev says everyone has to bear the fruits of their Karam including Shani. I will bring him back on the right path!
Precap: Mahadev says if Shani wont do his duty as Karamfaldata till tomorrow morning then he will neither lose that position but he will also be punished for indiscipline. Sanghya suggests Yam’s name for new Karamfaldata before her family.

Oo guys I am really fade up with devi sandhya useless drama and her dirty games which is getting me irritated now very much. Today I am very happy with yami she rocked today because she told the very right thing to devi sandhya hands off to yami and that cruel devi sandhya deserves that . Yam is perfect son of that cruel devi sandhya who is worse than those ASURAS in this serial. No this time devi sandhya have to get punishments of her evil deeds because she has crossed her every limits now. Surya dev is of mixed character sometimes good and sometimes very bad.
Hii madhu! Thank you for the spoliers! Now they are showing like family drama..devi sanghya is shown in bad light everytime…
Yes, you know the serial game! Evil is the name. I see you at the KKB updates. Most Indian serials is insulting to the public’s intelligence. The Westernization tv . . .ratings by using sensationalism. It’s very unnerving!
Suryadev is the Center point of our planetary systems, so of course he’s the center of his own light . . . Easy to not notice the rest when one assumes such a central position. Surya represents the ego, and is an astrological symbol of centeredness. Surya is covered by the cape of Sandhya, blinded by his own light. Sandhya belongs to the realm of what is under Indradev’s control, despite her marriage to Surya. Sandhya is the daughter of the great architect of the universe. Indra is the god the presides over the heavens who is also the god of war. What a combination . . . The elements is under his control.
The known definition of twighlight is:”the illumination of the Earth’s lower atmosphere when the Sun itself is not directly visible because it is below the horizon”. Therefore, Sun is not directly the cause but the earth and it’s atmosphere. So Indra assumes a sort of rule, shall we say over this effect.
Metaphorically, twighlight can be deceiving so Sandhya’s effect is that which receives the eye. Of course, Madhushree I can see why the writers have taken this aspect and has just made Sandhya’s character abominable!! Hard not to get swpept away by it, but you are an astrologer so I am sure you have an appreciation for her purpose, which is none but only an era Earth’s atmospheric effect. Chaaya on the other hand belongs to Shiva, the aspect of time, space, Kala. Chaaya consumes Sandhya between sunset and sunrise. Sunset and Sunrise what we do experience on Earth but outside of the earth we only experience the opaque darkness.
Twighlight is that which deceives the eyes.
Woww chaaya! You are making everything clear from the show’s perspective?..
I dont comment in KKB updates and neither i watch that serial…i only comment here and in a couple of serials…
So sorry dear, someone hasca similar picture so I obviously associated with you. Forgive me. I look at details from time to time because I want to observe what these corrupt producers, directors are up too. I am losing my respect for the entertainment business, and unfortunately the classical arts are going down a very slippery slope but my love is still for the India of old when men were gods and all life was worship and the arts were not simply for entertainment but have a level of bhava!
Shani will pay the price of being weak. Dharma is first but remember Yamaraj and Shanidev work hand in hand. If it is of any comfort Yama is only King status and Shani is a deva, so you know where I am going with that thought. Shani is still a major planet, Yama will reside over Patala. We all have to meet him one day. ??
Yes, I agree with you.
We all must have to meet him. There is no choice also.
But you know something, I want to meet the real Shani dev.
I want to have his true dharshan.
In many temples people used say don’t stand infront of Shani dev, as his dhrishti might create a havoc in your life. When elders say like this, young kids look at Shani dev frightened as if he is an enemy. People also say that Yamraj takes away life in a moment, but Shani dev will not leave us like that. They are picturing him as the most bad person. They are afraid of him only for his wrath and unbiased judgments and his dhrishti. Those people are also ready to go to extent to escape from his dhrishti.
But I feel, I am not afraid of his dhrishti, but of my karmas. I also can understand that many people are roaming in the world (I did not mean all especially, I did not mean you guys) having the same mind as Devi Sangya shown in the serial. They all agree in a common fact that, Shani dev’s dhrishti is worst and it creates havoc in their life.
But they don’t agree that it is because of their own karmas. If I try to explain, they shut me as Surya dev, Yam & Devi Sangya shut Mata Yami in today’s episode – They also add “Keep in mind that you are talking to elders, We have got more experience in this Earth than you have, We know more than you, so keep quiet and do your job. You don’t have to teach us about karmas” &etc…
And people also scold their children for even small mistakes as “Enakkunu vantha avatharicha Saniyane” in Tamil which means “You are born as a Shani in my life” Even my mom did that mistake- Just the same words of Devi Sangya. I won’t blame the current generation parents, because this is happening for many generations as I enquired more on that. When I see the episodes with Devi Sangya, I remember only the people talking like this. I really feel that if I have super-natural powers, I will surely make them feel very bad for this crime.
I don’t understand, why Shani dev is not making them understand. He might not be worrying about what other people comment on him. But I feel bad when I hear people talking like that about my dear Shani dev. Now I understand, a kid will be angry if some one talks rude and bad about its parents. I feel the same – If I go to temples, I feel as my god-father is standing infront of me.
I want to do pooja for God (especially for Shani dev) from my hands. But this is not allowed in South Indian temples as girls & women are not allowed to enter the garbha-graha or near the idol and are entirely not allowed to touch the statue. They say it might reduce the pavitra of the God.
This happened when I was a small kid (6-7 yrs old). I went to a small temple near my house with my parents. That temple has a very cute Lord Ganesha. I touched his cheek and said you are really so cute and chubby. Then a priest came angrily and scolded that you should not touch the Lord. I asked why. He said this is not a doll for you to play but the Lord. Your touch might reduce the Lord’s Pavitra. I argued that I am also a human being who is created by the same God just as you do, but why I am forbidden to enter. But that ended in my parents shutting me badly infront of all.
I distinctly remember that moment, I asked from my soul to Lord Ganesha that, with the permission from the priest, I want to touch you. This has to happen on its own but not by influence of any human being, but by your influence. If you really don’t feel my touch good, then make it good as you have given these hands to me. Make it good enough to touch you, else I don’t want these hands. Respond immediately if you are really in there and not sleeping. I was angry at that time.
But within a month, he immediately responded. The same temple had a Kumbabhisheka function. Before keeping the new statue on the same place. They asked all people to keep Navarathnas, Coins & etc on the stambha/Peedam of the Lord. Then the same priest asked me to step inside the garbha-graha (room) and touch the Lord’s idol before it could be placed, because a kannika Naari (unmarried girl), has to do that ritual. My happiness had no bounds. I told him, now I agree that you are in there and hearing to all people. From that day, that Lord Ganesha became my best friend and he is very special for me. Whatever I ask him, he responds immediately. Sometimes, I feel that he is smiling at me.
I wish, the Earth & Time strucks for a moment as Lord Krishna did during the Kurukshetra war, I will go and fall on his feet and hug him. But, this time it can happen only in dreams…
But, I stayed in North India for a few years, that time, we were allowed to do pooja for any God by ourselves and there was no orders of the priest like, sit there, stand there, don’t touch….
I felt my eternal-self when I touched the Shiva linga. I felt something was running up and down in my spines & backbone. Now I miss that touch. I have also done a alankaram/makeover for Lord Krishna in that small temple in North India. That made me too close to Lord Krishna – My beloved Father of my soul (Paramathma)…. From that day, I used to call him Pithashree & I felt that he smiles (really with big smile) at me. I tried pinching myself. I asked my mom, can you see him smiling, she says not as much as you say but as usual he is having a happy face.
I miss those moment and acts…. I want to do a make over for Shani dev also…. No idea of how it will happen…..
People sometime call me fool, if I express this desire. they say, God is some one who so higher than us. (ooooopar wala, not upar-wala). So, you can’t reach him like this.
I used to reply, he accepts, any kind of bhakti, He listens to the simplest way of a small garland of flowers, filled with love & devotion rather than a big big yagna filled people having lists of what they want from that God and with stealthy heart that veda-mantras can console god for anything. I did not mean that veda-mantras can’t reach out to god, but a simple spot-less devotion will be given as first preference. People say Blah-Blah-Blah finally – Insulting me. I don’t mind. But it is true.
I want to share a scene from a tamil movie Adi Parashakti.
A fisherman, asks a Brahmin that why he is coming to the river bank and doing pooja and taking Water from the river in his hands and puts it again in the river. The Brahmin, boasts that, I can see the Goddess, if I do like this. But actually that he lies to the fisherman.
The fisherman finds it interesting and asks the Brahmin about the trick which the Brahmin refuses because the fisherman is from lower-caste. The fisherman says I will wnd my life in this river, if you don’t teach me. The Brahmin fears of Prana-hathi dosha (dosha of killing a living being with intension) and teaches him some sanskrit mantras.
But the fisherman can’t understand and says, teach in a way how I can understand. Then the brahmin, says you must have a vairagya to see the Goddess.
The fisherman asks how much (level) vairagya is required ? The Brahmin puts the fisherman’s head in the water and forces it inside. Then the fisherman understands the level of vairagya required that his life is also not important to see the goddess.
He then goes to a deeper place and keeps hold of his breath and says, My dear Ambha this is the way of my bhakti, come & save me if my devotion & vairagya is enough to summon you here, else take my soul to you. Oneway or other I want to see you. The goddess immediately appears and save him. He is shocked that, people used say, Ambha will come only if you do tapasya for 1000 years.
But I doubt you that are you real Goddess as you have come so early. She laughs that even God is put in doubt, if they come before time. The fisherman finds a way to solve this confusion and says that if you are the real Ambha then you should not move a step from this position. Ambha agrees it.
He goes and drags the Brahmin to the river bank to confirm that whether it is real Ambha (Goddess) as the brahmin has seen Ambha already. The brahmin, says you have gone mad, there is only water, no Ambha.
Then the fisherman says you have no eyes Brahmin, but I can see her laughing. The Brahmin confirms that this guy has gone mad and tries to leave home. But the fisherman asks him what should I do as Ambha has come here. Brahmin says prepare Sweet-pongal and give it to your Ambha.
The fisherman worries that he does not know how to make sweet-pongal. Ambha says your wife knows how to make it. He rushes home and asks his wife whether she knows to make it. She then prepares sweet-pongal for the Goddess.
The fisherman and his wife with full devotion, sing a small song praising the goddess in simple words with a pot of small sweet-rice for the Goddess as offering (Their hut was so small and he was so poor that he did not even have an idol of Ambha in his house) and on an other hand, a bunch of priest sing Lalitha Sahasranama with lots of varieties of food infront of a gold statue of Goddess.
The goddess comes to the fishman’s house and eats the offering and asks what do you want as I am happy with your devotion. He says, We don’t want anything for ourselves but we want you to give food for all living beings.
If you feel hungry, directly you must come to our hut and have food. She agains asks don’t you want anything for yourself. He declines. Ambha says I now understand what made me to come here, it is your pure devotion without wanting anything in return.
He also scolds the Goddess that, the sweet-rice pongal has not warm now, why didn’t you come earlier. The Goddess replies, I am sorry, I wont miss food on time in your house again.
Then he asks her to come to the Brahmin’s house also, and have that food as those people have cooked many varieties of food for you. She denies that her stomach is full. Fisherman says, people say that you have a big stomach to swallow the whole universe itself.
He says come on, we will go there by walk, so the food you ate in our house will digest. Don’t feel shy to eat there also. Upon his compulsion, she unwillingly comes to the Brahmin’s house, those same bunch of brahmins were having a feast with the food prepared for the goddess.
The people gathered there eat the food calling it as prasada but actually, they did not give time for the goddess to come & eat. Or they believed that Goddess won’t come while offering it to her.
The fisherman is shocked. Goddess says, This is why I refused to come her. I also do not hear their prayer as they believe that I won’t come. This means that they say don’t come while offering these food for me.
If I come once and eat food truely in this place as it happened in your house, these people will never place a single grain of rice infront of my idol.
This was an eye-opening scene in my life.
And after that, Lord Ganesha has eaten a modaka in our house on a Ganesh Chaturthi day (But that happened only once). We kept 10 modakas in a plate in the pooja room and went outside to keep one for crow. When we came back and found one more modaka vanished. Truely nobody else other than him could have done it as all of our family members were standing outside when that happened.
Talking about God never ends as his leela is too long to explain until the end of time.(Never ends…)
Glad to know you had so many divine experiences in ur childhood?
What you said in above comment is totally true..even when i was a kid, my cousin called me as ‘saniyane’ to scold me at a point and my aunt said we should not even utter that word otherwise Mata Saraswati wil vanish from our tongue…after she said i was even scared to utter Lord Shani dev’s name..then when i grew up i eventually learnt about him before few years and got rid of that fear…then i didnt understand why people are making a fuss on His name as He is also a demi-god…hope people get cleared by this kind of ignorance and understand the truth..like you said we should not be scared of Shani dev but scared of their own karmas…
**our own karmas…
Nandhini akka have you seen Adi parashakti movie…
Actress Varalakshmi (older) was mata adi shakti in that
We do not pray to idols, these symbols of the various aspects that exist in nature and our universe are based on the unknown energy entities within the consecrated and invoked qualities of the icon. You are not praying to a mere stone but the energy infused in it. Look up into the night sky and feel the energy of Shani. Worship is manmade but devotion is God and you can do your work for Shani without needing to enter the sanctum . . .the true sanctum is the temple of your heart. Bless you.
I am so glad to know you had so many divine experience in your childhood. God is great . I can’t explain his greatness. I want to meet all of gods and goddesses. And especially shani dev, hanumaan ji and Krishna.
Thank you
You don’t have to go anywhere to meet them all.
They all reside in you and you reside in them.
Just try to identify them inside you so that you will definitely meet them.
Well, you answered the call to your own wish.
Thanks Chaaya…
Actually I will give the credits to the fisherman story in Adi Parashakti movie…
Actually,
Ambha while eating in the fisherman’s house will tell, I will definitely be present in a place where people have no greed and allow me to reside in them…
I never require a palace or big temples to reside, but a pure heart with devotion and love for me is large enough for me….
!!!!! Jai Jagathambe !!!! Jai Mata Di !!!!
