The latest episode Shark Tank India 2  witnessed a major face-off between sharks Anupam Mittal and Aman Gupta. Stepbrothers Sayyam Jain and Sunny Jain founders of a soap brand from Pune introduced their skincare, body care and hair care range which is a unique fusion of Ayurveda and Science. Their asked for Rs 60 lakhs for 2% equity.

After listening to their pitch, Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal offered them Rs 60 lakh for 10 % equity. Aman, on the other hand, came up with an individual offer for Rs 60 lakh for 10 % equity. Aman also called himself ‘Flipkart, Amazon ka raja’, which doesn’t go down well with Anupam.

Anupam said, “Ye Amazon ka raja waja chodo this is like boasting about yourself.” He further added, “If you want a technology like Cureskin, I can help you because I’ve understood it very well and our business is related to technology.”

Aman interrupted him and said, “Many of the businesses must have shut down which they are working on.”

This really irked Anupam and he retorted, “He doesn’t know what he is talking about, you can think about the offer and come back, he is just replying as he wants to counter.”

Aman added, “Haan bhai sahab ko hee sab pata hai, hum toh nadan bande hain.” They stared at each other and Anupam said, “Bakwaas karoge toh yehi realise hoga.”

The brothers took some time to think and returned with a counteroffer of Rs 1 crore for 5% equity. Aman offers Rs 60 lakhs for 4% equity and added that if they again go back to think about it, he will back out. Aman finally sealed the deal with Sayyam and Sunny for Rs 60 lakh for 4 % equity.
