Shark Tank India 2: Major face-off between Namita Thapar and Anupam Mittal; the former asks him to keep his ego in check
Shark Tank India 2 which is garnering some mixed responses from viewers is finally getting the attention of the audience because of the arguments between the sharks. The upcoming episode will also see ‘Sharks’ getting into a heated argument over a deal.
One of the recent promos of the show showed two founders introducing Sharks to their product which was semi-permanent dyes. They asked for Rs 65 lakh for 1% equity. Peyush Bansal encouraged them and told them that they only need to think of a way to grow it into an Rs 800-900 crore business.
Vineeta Singh offered Rs 65 lakh for 4% equity with Anupam Mittal. Listening to her offer Aman Gupta said, “Kabhi toh kisi aur ko le liya karo yaar (At least take others sometimes).”
Anupam replies back to him saying, “Tum value nahi add karte ho yaar sirf herogiri karte ho.” To this Aman said, “Hero will stay a hero and villain will stay a villain.” Aman counters the offer with Rs 65 for 5%.
Peyush added a new twist by offering Rs 65 lakh for 1%. This irked Namita gets upset. Anupam said, “Dirty game is being played here.” When Namita said that she doesn’t agree, he retorts, “It doesn’t matter what you think.”
Namita stands up and says, “Not okay, you need to keep your ego in check.” After a lot of back and forth, the founders eventually accepted Aman and Vineeta’s offer of Rs 65 lakh for 2% equity. Anupam accused the founders of playing a dirty game and being overly smart.
Anupam even referred to Vineeta and Aman as ‘dalbadlu’. Namita supports Aman and Vineeta which sparked a debate between Anupam and her.
