Shaurya aur Anokhi Ki Kahani fame Anuj Kohli opens up on escaping drone bomb attack at the Jammu Air Force base; says, It was a scary experience

Anuj Kohli, who essays the role of Vineet Bhatia in the show Shaurya aur Anokhi Ki Kahani, escaped the recent drone bomb explosion at the Jammu Air Force Base. The actor was residing a mere 50 meters away from the site.

In an interview with ETimes TV Anuj talks about it and shares, “The experience was very scary for me. I am staying with my father-in-law and he is in the Army and staying in the Army cant. Just next to the Cant is the Air Force base. I was more scared than them as my father-in-law being in Army is used to these experiences. We got a call through the Army phone and were asked to stay inside the house. We only stepped out once we got another call stating that the situation is under control.”

The actor who was on his way to Delhi added, “I faced something like this for the first time in my life. I lied on the floor, bed… I couldn’t figure out what to do. My father-in-law told me not to worry. We all are doing fine. I thank all my fans for reaching out to me. I wish to tell them that I am absolutely ok.”

According to a report by Times of India on June 27, two low-intensity explosions took place in the high-security technical area of Jammu Air Force Station in the early hours of Sunday. While the first blast ripped off the roof of a building, the second one was on the ground. No casualties have been reported so far.
