Kashibai Bajirao Ballal has managed to strike a chord with the audience. As the story is progressing the characters who were seen as young initially are now grown-ups. As a result, the show will soon witness some new faces essaying the roles of grown-up characters. While actress Riya Sharma, who was last seen in Pinjara – Khubsurti Ka has been roped in to essay the grown-up Kashibai in the show. According to the latest reports, actor Shehzada Dhami has been finalized for the role of Bajirao.
Kashibai Bajirao Ballal will soon witness a leap of seven years in the third week of March. Post the leap Riya and Shehzada will take over from Aarohi Patel and Venkatesh Pande to essay the lead roles.
Shehzada was last seen in Choti Sardarni where he was not happy with the way his character was shaping up. He eventually quit the show after just five months.
Earlier in an interview Dhami talked about it and shared, “Yes, I am quitting the show because I am not happy with my character and track. It didn’t shape up the way I was promised. I was under the impression that the grown-up Param will have a similar graph as the younger one, who was an important character in the storyline. But there was no scope for me to explore as an actor. Of course, I was disappointed that it fell short of my expectations. My last day of the shoot is on December 3.”
