Actress Sherlyn Chopra has finally managed to record her statement against Bigg Boss 16 contestant and #MeToo accused Sajid Khan on October 29. Earlier during her interaction with the media talked about how she wasn’t being allowed to do so.
The actress informed in her tweet that later in the day she was called to record her statement. She wrote, “Finally the lady police officer was called to take my statement…thanks @MumbaiPolice 🙏🏻 Hope FIR is registered against #MeToo accused and Habitual Molester – Sajid Khan immediately! #सत्य_मेव_जयते 🔥🔥🔥.”
Earlier on October 29, Sherlyn tweeted, “In connection to the complaint that I had filed on Oct 19, I’ll be visiting Juhu PS today to record my statement against #metoo accused Sajid Khan. I pray that habitual molester, Sajid Khan be summoned at the earliest for interrogation & FIR be lodged against him #ArrestSajidKhan.”
Earlier during her interaction with the media, the actress shared her ordeal and said, “I am not saying just blindly. Believe me, I want the authorities to investigate the matter but how will it happen if they are not ready to file my complaint or record my statement? They are taking me lightly. Everyone is watching this. Who should we ask justice from? They have asked to come around 8 PM and by then they will arrange a lady constable. My whole point is if they don’t want to take my complaint, tell me, I’ll go to the Bandra police, DCP office. I am not asking them to arrest Sajid Khan right now but at least they should investigate.”
She added, “My fans and people on social media are saying that ma’am you are wasting your time and police are not going to do anything because Sajid Khan ke sir par Salman Khan ka haath hai, people are telling this on social media. Unke hote Sajid ka koi baal bhi baaka nahi kar sakta.”
