Sherlyn Chopra goes to a Mumbai police station to file a molestation complaint against #MeToo accused Sajid Khan
Sherlyn Chopra was in touch with her lawyers to file a complaint against #MeToo accused and Bigg Boss 16 contestant Sajid Khan. The actress recently went to the Police Station in Juhu, Mumbai on October 19 to register a complaint. Sherlyn also spoke to a section of the media and showed them a copy of the complaint.
She said, “I have come to the police station to file a complaint against Sajid Khan, who is a #MeToo accused. He is a habitual s*xual predator and molester. I have come to file a complaint against him under IPC section 354, 354 A. The police have given me the assurance that I will be called very soon to record my statement. After that, #MeToo accused Sajid Khan will also be called for questioning.”
Sherlyn further added, “There has been an uproar that Sajid Khan should be evicted but Bigg Boss is paying no heed. They are not understanding our pain. Today morning, I have sent a letter to our Union Minister Anurag Thakur and requested him to stop broadcasting Bigg Boss 16 until our accused Sajid Khan is inside the house.”
Earlier in a press conference, Sherlyn expressed her disappointment about Sajid’s presence in the BB16 house. She said, “I am not telling Sajid Khan to be jailed right away. He is an accused. I just want that as an accused, he shouldn’t be allowed on any public platform neither as a contestant nor a guest. This is only supporting molestation. It’s just not one woman, many women have raised their voices against him. With him on Bigg Boss, it’s only giving him support. He is a bad influence on youngsters. They will think – It’s ok to molest. No, you cannot touch a woman without consent.”
