Actress Shikha Singh, who is known for her role as Alia in Kumkum Bhagya took a break from acting during her pregnancy. The actress is now all set to return on the small screen with the popular show Naagin.
Shikha will be essaying the role of a senior policewoman in the show. Shikha talked about it in an interview with BT and shared, “I have always opted for strong roles, and playing a cop is one. I am super excited and delighted that after I gave birth to Alayna, I am getting to play such an action-packed role. The show is seeing a lot of twists and turns and there will be a lot of adventure. Playing a cop In the show should be interesting.”
Talking about returning to the sets after a break, Shikha said, “It was a tough time reducing weight and getting fitter, but I was determined and persistent. More than that I am happy that I was not offered a mommy role because I am a mother now and the makers thought of casting me in a supernatural show as a cop.”
Shikha essayed the role of Alia in Kumkum Bhagya for six years from 2014 to 2020. She has also been part of shows like Mahabharat, Phulwa, Sasural Simar Ka, and Pavitra Rishta.
