Mahadev feels sorrowful witnessing a forest burning. An elderly woman who had once helped him arrives and, unaware of his identity, accuses him of being a sinner for burning the forest. Lord Narayan explains that their actions had a valid reason, but the woman curses them, saying their bodies will burn like the forest. Upon realizing she cursed Mahadev, she regrets it, but the curse cannot be undone. As the curse takes effect, Mahadev advises the Devtas to undertake the sacred Kumbh Snan to purify themselves.
Mahadev informs Bheemasur that he must face death as punishment for his deeds. Before dying, Bheemasur requests that the forest be named after him. Mahadev blesses him, naming the Shivling there “Bheemashankar.” Meanwhile, the Devtas and Rishis set out for the Kumbh Snan to absolve their sins.
Jimrasur, under orders from Diti, attempts to delay Mahadev until sunset, hoping devi Parvati will lose her powers. Despite Jimrasur’s invincibility due to a boon, Mahadev battles him using his trishul and brute strength. Jimrasur’s intent is to stall Mahadev, but the Devtas successfully complete their Kumbh Snan and recover from the curse. As sunset nears, Jimrasur gloats about his plan, believing they have won. However, Mahadev ties his hair and prepares for the next phase of the confrontation, determined to overcome the obstacle.
