The episode starts with Nishumbh continuing to humiliate Parvati and asking him to visit asur lok with them and become Shumbh’s wife. Shiv says he will spread bhasm/ash into the whole world. Shumbh and Nishumbh laugh. Shiv throws bhasm in air which covers the whole world. People panic and run out of their houses.
Shumbhh and Nishumbh are unable to see anything. Narayan plays shank and says whenever the day ends or there is ambiguity in the environment, war stops. Shumbh asks him not to stop war and asks Parvati to attack them. Parvati stops Mahadev and asks what is he doing. Shiv says he is answering to her adamancy, she bounded her husband with love and trust. He reminds her that she as a Sati disobeyed her and faced dire consequences and says he can’t lose her again. Parvati requests him to calm down. Shiv drops bhasm from his hand. All bhasm clears from air. Devotees chant har har Mahadev.
Parvati says she will go and face Shumbh and Nishumbh now. Shiv says she faced common asurs earlier and now facing Shumbh and Nishumbh who are very tricky and suggests her to let the night pass on today. Shumbh and Nishumbh return to asur lok. Diti tells them that they are fools, Shiv rescued Parvati and took her away. They say they will not let Parvati escape.
