Nandi, despite losing his eyesight, declares his unwavering devotion to Mahadev and vows to perform puja to the Shivling. Chanting Har Har Mahadev, he inspires the Shivgans to join him. Andhakasur, mocking their blindness, sends a windstorm to hide the Shivlings and challenges them to find even one, promising to accept their devotion if they succeed.
Nandi, undeterred, asks Mahadev for guidance. Devi Parvati expresses concern about their inability to see, but Nandi’s faith remains strong. Mahadev responds by guiding Nandi and the Shivgans with his voice. As they move towards the Shivlings, Andhakasur watches in disbelief, while Narad praises Mahadev’s divine play.
Upon reaching the Shivlings, Nandi and the Shivgans pour water and chant Har Har Mahadev, enraging Andhakasur. He then challenges them with one final Shivling, holding it aloft and daring them to pour water on it. Nandi prays to Mahadev and throws a water pot, trusting in divine guidance. The water miraculously pours onto the Shivling, and Mahadev himself is also bathed in the sacred water.
Defeated and frustrated, Andhakasur witnesses the completion of the puja. Nandi then reminds him of his promise, urging him to chant Har Har Mahadev 11 times.
