Gajasur fervently prays before the Shivling, playing the damru. Devi Parvati warns Mahadev that Shukracharya’s conspiracy is behind Gajasur’s devotion. She vows to prevent Mahadev from responding to Gajasur’s prayer and instructs Nandi, Ganesh, and the Shivgans to block Mahadev from leaving Kailash. Diti dismisses Gajasur’s efforts, stating that Devi Parvati won’t allow Mahadev to leave.
Shukracharya asserts that they will win regardless of the outcome, either Mahadev leaves and risks his existence or his reputation for answering devotees’ prayers is tarnished. Despite his exhaustion and bleeding, Gajasur continues his prayer, deeply moving Mahadev, who prepares to leave Kailash. As Mahadev tries to leave, Devi Parvati and the others block his path, even creating a firewall to stop him.
Kailash begins to tremble and melt under the intensity of the confrontation. Mahadev insists that his principles require him to answer Gajasur’s call, while Devi Parvati stands firm, saying her responsibility is to protect him. Narayan supports Mahadev, but Devi Parvati refuses to relent, declaring her final decision to stop him. In response, Mahadev transforms into a crying child, dissolving the fire barrier. Moved by the child’s cries, Devi Parvati extinguishes the fire and attempts to soothe the child.
Narayan expresses his admiration for Mahadev’s child form, while children across the earth begin crying in response. Ganesh suggests that the cries are due to hunger and offers a laddu to the child, but the crying continues, leaving Devi Parvati pondering how to comfort the child.
