Goddess Parvati vows to rectify her sin by stepping on bel leaves with thorns, enduring pain as a lesson in atonement. Lord Narayan acknowledges her suffering, while Lord Shiva grieves, feeling helpless as he watches his Shakti in pain. A devotee, witnessing Parvati’s devotion, hopes Lord Shiva grants her wish.
Upon successfully entering the Somnath temple, Goddess Parvati seeks Lord Shiva’s forgiveness, chanting Har Har Mahadev and pouring water on the Jyotirlinga. Sadashiv declares that this act will release humans from their sins and bring peace, marking Somnath as the starting point for the Jyotirlinga pilgrimage. As the Jyotirlinga glows, Lord Narayan and Narad join in worship, recognizing the divine bond between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
Meanwhile, Swarth and Shukracharya see Parvati’s entry into Somnath as a setback but insist her journey will not progress further. Undeterred, she continues her parikrama. When Lord Shiva asks her to stop, she reminds him that he did not listen when she asked him to stay. Though Lord Shiva expresses his love and pain, Parvati insists that their suffering will ultimately lead to their reunion.
Sadashiv concludes that while Lord Shiva acted rightly as Mahadev, he failed in his duty as a husband.
