The episode starts with Parvati noticing Narayan’s Baiju avatar. Mahadev says Baiju doesn’t know that he is Narayan’s avatar. Narayan says whenever evil like Jalandhar is born, he takes a new avatar to defeat the evil; he always is born as Shiv’s devotee. Shiv asks him to maintain stability in the universe and disappears with Parvati. Baiju gets into senses and thinks why Mahadev greeted him. He continues his kanwar yatra.
Jalandhar regains his consciousness and strangulates Shukracharya for attacking him. Vrinda says Shukracharya saved him from punishment. Shukracharya says because of Jalandhar’s foolishness, Shiv established 12th Baidyanath jyotirling. He explains that there were 11 jyotirlings earlier and now 12, and if Jalandhar has to defeat Shiv, he has to destroy all 12 jyotirlings first. Jalandhar orders Mahishasur to gather his arm as they will go on a mission of destroying jyotrilings.
Parvati takes oath to protect jyotrilings. Kartikeya, Ganesh, and Nandi also take oath to protect jyotrilings. Shiv says they need not worry and just have some patience. They don’t understand Shiv’s strategy. Jalandhar tells Shukracharya let’s start destroying jyotrilings. Shukracharya says let’s start with Mahakaleshwar jyotriling.
