The episode starts with Diti suggesting to Shukracharya that the Asur clan needs a leader. Shukracharya names Gajasur as their leader, but Diti doubts his loyalty to the Asur clan since he is a devoted follower of Mahadev. Shukracharya proposes using Gajasur to benefit the Asur clan, marking the beginning of a new plan.
Mahadev worries that Gajasur’s arrogance may lead him into Diti and Shukracharya’s trap, which would be disastrous for him and the world. When Devi Parvati notices his concern, she questions him. Though he initially refuses to share, she persuades him to set aside his worries, and they join their family for a meal.
At dinner, Kartikeya announces his decision to leave Kailash, citing his desire for peace and to distance himself from the upcoming crowning of Indradev as the king of Indralok. Devi Parvati is heartbroken, but Mahadev advises discussing the matter after eating, reminding Kartikeya to balance his desires with his responsibilities.
Shukracharya and Diti challenge Gajasur to prove that he is Mahadev’s greatest devotee. Gajasur accepts the test, which requires him to place the Shivling and perform puja before sunrise. If Bel Patra falls on the Shivling during the ritual, his devotion will be validated. Mahadev, overhearing this, observes the unfolding events.
