The episode starts with Indradev asking dev senapati Kartikeya to put his hands in a magical bowl and seek whatever gifts he wants to. Kartikeya walks to Indradev’s throne and says he wants to become dev lok’s king father rather than being a dev senapati. Diti laughs and says Mahadev now has to either lose his throne or bear humiliation. Parvati asks Kartikeya to get down the throne. Kartikeya says he is Shiv Shakti’s son, doesn’t he deserve to be a king than being just a senapati.
Indradev returns and asks Kartikeya why is he standing there instead of seeking something from a magical bowl. Kartikeya asks if he will get swarg lok from this magical bowl. Indradev asks what does he mean. Kartikeya gets adamant to become swarglok’s king.
Narayan tells Kartikeya that his father is the king of the whole universe, even then he lives a simple life with bhasm/ash on his body; even he is wearing bhasm/ash today to show how much he is inspired with Shiv. Kartikeya refuses to listen to him and challenges Indradev for a war. He arrogantly says he killed Tarakasur and deserves to be the king. Parvati asks him to stop his adamancy. Kartikeya plays emotional drama and asks if he will not get what he deserves.
Shiv gets angry and asks Kartikeya to get down the throne and go back to Kailash. Kartikeya walks away saying he is not a kid to be ordered. Shiv tells Narayan that he sensed Kartikeya’s state of mind earlier and got it confirmed from Narayan when he applied bhasm on his body even after being a king of wealth. Kartikeya pass through a jungle. Diti asks why did he return early, didn’t he get what he deserved. Kartikeya says he wanted superior gift for him, but Shiv sent him from there and nobody opposed him. Diti says he has become like asurs who are capable but are not given their rights. She continues to manipulate him.
Precap: Kartikeya says he will not get his right by begging and Shiv will not let him snatch his right. Kartikeya challenges to kill Indra and take over Indralok.
