Shukracharya instructs Arunasur to remove the cloth, but instead of Sundar, they find a maid. Meenakshi questions the maid about Sundar’s whereabouts, but she claims she was only trying to stop the fire. Meenakshi realizes Sundar has tricked her again.
Kanchanmala is relieved that Lord Shiva’s devotee has escaped. Sundar approaches her, noticing her injury, and expresses gratitude, addressing her as “mother” and applying medicine to her wound. He assures her that he fears nothing, as Lord Shiva’s mantra gives him strength. Kanchanmala smiles and blesses him before he leaves.
Meenakshi, still furious at being deceived, vows to punish Sundar. When Kanchanmala overhears this, she realizes Sundar is Lord Shiva. She suggests that Meenakshi poison Sundar, and Meenakshi eagerly agrees. Shukracharya warns Arunasur that Sundar may be Lord Shiva and urges him to find him. Diti suggests hastening Meenakshi’s marriage to break Adi Shakti’s devotion and prevent the Shiv-Shakti reunion. Arunasur plans to call Vayu, his friend’s son, to stop this union.
Sundar reminisces about his time with Meenakshi, while Narad expresses concern to Lord Narayan about Sundar’s attachment to her. Lord Narayan explains that heart connections form naturally, though Narad fears Meenakshi will cause trouble.
Kanchanmala secretly obtains an antidote after giving Meenakshi a poisoned drink for Sundar, determined not to let an innocent person die. Meenakshi approaches Sundar, who is meditating on a bull. When he playfully suggests she came because she couldn’t stay away from him, she is taken aback but hides her true intentions, thinking she has brought his death with her.
