The episode starts with Shiv telling Narayan that his son and Nandi Gan can’t complete Shumbh’s aarti, so he has to go there. Narayan asks what if Parvati gets angry in his absence again. Shiv says he will take Parvati along then and asks Parvati to accompany him. Parvati refuses and says she wants to go to her house. Shiv holds her hand and says she will freeze into ice. Parvati says she knew he is a trickster and would trick her and turns into ice.

Shiv then reaches venue where hypnotized Kartikeya and other gods are performing Shumb’s aarti and taps his trishul. Earth shakes, disturbing aarti. Shubh angrily shouts being a god, doesn’t Shiv know that one shouldn’t spoil aarti. Shiv says hypnotizing someone and getting aarti via them is not bravery but cowardness. Apasmara tells him that he should worry about his wife. Shiv says he has frozen his wife, so Apasmara’s evil eyes will not reach her; Apasmara should be ready to bear punishment for his sin.

Apasmara says Shiv will see his power today and asur raj Shumbh’s greatness. Shumbh says Shiv will face his own son today and orders Kartikeya to kill Shiv. Kartikeya with other gods picks weapon and heads towards Shiv, but stops. Apasmara hynpnotizes devotees and orders them to pelt stones on Shiv. They all pick stone, but stop. Shiv says Apasmara can control their brain but not their heart. He tells them all that he is ready to accept Shumbh as his king if they follow his way of respecting Shumbh. Shumbh is shocked to hear that. Shiv stands in a Natraj mudra/style. Everyone follow him. Shumbh thinks if it’s Mahadev plan to trick asurs.

Precap: Apasmara sys if he dies, whole universe will end. Shiv enlarges himself in Nataraj’s avatar and says that is why he will keep Apasmara under his feet forever.
