Gajasur pleads with Mahadev to grant him mukti/freedom using his trishul, a request supported by Lord Narayan and others. Despite his anguish, Mahadev fulfills the wish, and Gajasur dies chanting “Har Har Mahadev.” Mahishi mourns deeply, calling herself the unluckiest mother. Mahadev, consumed by grief and anger, partially cremates Gajasur, transforming his remaining body into garments to symbolize their bond. He creates the ‘Kirthi Shivling’ with Gajasur’s ashes to honor him.
Shukracharya, plotting against the Devtas, supports Jimrasur as the Asuras’ leader. Jimrasur forces devotees to worship him and clashes with Rishi Agastya, who opposes him in Mahadev’s name. Despite being injured, Agastya defies Jimrasur and his commander, Kranch. Mahadev intervenes to heal Agastya and warns that Kranch’s arrogance will lead to his downfall. Agastya vows to visit Kailash, setting up further events.
