As the excitement builds for the upcoming season, here’s an update on the star-studded contestant lineup.
Confirmed reports reveal that Sumbul Touqeer, Shivangi Joshi, Manisha Rani, and Shiv Thakare will be gracing the dance floor in the upcoming season of the show.
According to a source closely associated with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, “Negotiations are on with Sumbul, Shivangi, Shiv, and Manisha. We are still working on the budgets for the first three and hoping to lock the deal soon.”
Sumbul Touqeer, who shot to fame as Imlie in the popular series “Imlie,” later made her mark in the 16th season of Bigg Boss. She currently captivates viewers as the protagonist in the newly launched show “Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon.” Shivangi, who currently portrays Aradhna in “Barsatein – Mausam Pyar Ka,” is set to explore the non-fiction genre for the second time with Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. She previously appeared in the 12th season of “Khatron Ke Khiladi” in 2022. Meanwhile, this marks Shiv Thakare’s third reality show appearance following his participation in Bigg Boss 16 and the ongoing 13th season of “Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.” Fresh from the success of the second edition of Bigg Boss OTT, Manisha Rani has also secured her spot on the dance reality show.
The new season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is expected to grace television screens in the first week of November and will run until February. With 10 seasons under its belt, the dance reality show has consistently delivered thrilling entertainment.
