Part 7
Anika fainted in shivay’s arms. He carried her in his arms and left from pool. He went to a guest room and placed her carefully in bed. He informed Mallika. She rushed to guest room and was shocked to see Anika lying unconscious.
” What in the Earth have u done shivay? Why she is unconscious?”
” I didn’t do anything. I just confessed my feelings to her”.
” R u mad shivay this is how you will propose your wife that too when she is angry on u. U r impossible.”
” I don’t know what to do. She was not trusting me.”
” Let’s talk about this later. Go and call a doctor now.”
Shivay went away and called a doctor.
Doctor checked Annika and prescribes some medicines for her.
” Mrs. Rana I think she fainted due to shock. I think she must have got some biggest shock of her life. There is nothing to worry. She will soon regain conscious. Make sure she take rest for some time”.
” Thank you doctor”.
” No problem but please make sure she eat and take rest in time”.
” Yes doctor I will take care of it”, said shivay.
” Okay then I think I can leave now.”
” Mallika I will drop doctor and buy medicines for Anika. Till then u take care of her”.
” Shivay why r u going? I will ask my workers to get medicine.”
” Mallika did you forget I gave up my surname so I will not take any help from others. Moreover I am her husband and it’s my duty to take care of her.”
Mallika nodded her head in approval. Shivay left the room along with doctor. Mallika changed anika’s clothes.
After half an hour
Anika gained her consciousness. She opened her eyelids slowly. She looked around her. She didn’t see shivay. She thought she dreamt about him. She thought his confession was also a part of the dream. She was trying to get up. Mallika saw her and helped her.
” Mallika what happened? Why I am here?”
” U fainted Anika. Don’t take much stress. It’s not good for your health.”
” Mallika wait a minute I want to ask u something but please don’t laugh.”
” Tell me Anika. What are you worried about”?
” Woh Mallika I saw Mr.oberoi. I don’t know whether it is real or not.”
” U know what anika. U r mad totally mad. He came to you and confessed his feelings and instead of giving him a reply u fainted.”
” It means whatever happened was not my dream. Everything was true.”
” Of course my dear. He only came for you.”
Tears rolled from her eyes. Mallika caressed her cheeks and rubbed her tears.
” Mallika why did he come back to me? I don’t want to see him again.”
” Anika I understand you. Shivay told me everything. I was very angry at him at first. But when I came to know his feelings for you I got convinced. He loves you truly. You should give him a chance”.
” But what about me Mallika. He didn’t even give me a chance to explain myself. Then why should I give him a chance?”
” Anika do u remember when I ran away from my own wedding. I was afraid to face my problems. It was u who convinced shivay and let me stay in oberoi mansion. It was u who spoke to Sid and solved my issues. What would have happened to me if Sid didn’t give me a chance again. I broke his heart and trust. I was always afraid whether Sid will treat me badly after marriage. But he didn’t do anything like that. Not even a single time he or his family mocked me for running away from my marriage. He is the best thing that happened to me.
Every human deserve a chance Anika. I know u too love him. I can see it in your eyes. There is no need to deny it. If not for him at least for you give him a chance.”
” What if he break me again Mallika? I won’t be able to live again.”
” Why are you thinking negatively Anika. If u think he will break u again then why would he come here and want to work for u. Why he gave up his surname and all his luxuries. He did all this only for u. Take your time and take a good decision. U need some rest. I will ask radhika to take care of arrangements. U take rest.”
She saw shivay entering in room. Mallika left from there giving some privacy to both of them. She closed the door when she went out.
Shivay came close to anika. He was having a cover which was full of medicines. He took out few pills and a glass of water. He made her take those pills and water. She didn’t resist him.
Anika was only looking at shivay. He looked tired. His eyes was not showing any tadi. He had dark circles indicating his lack of sleep. She could also see a few drops of tears in his eyes. Her hands involuntarily went to his face. She caressed it lightly and rubbed his tears from his face. Shivay was shocked by her gesture. He leaned close to her. He could feel her heavy breathing. Annika’s mind was not working she was already lost in his green eyes. He slowly leaned towards her and closed the distance between them. He was kissing her but it was very gentle. That kiss only lasted for few seconds. He felt Anika too responding for a second but she pushed him away. She closed her eyes tightly not able to handle their proximity.
Anika’s pov
What on the Earth I am doing? He kissed me and I allowed him to do that. But my heart jumped in happiness. I missed him so much. But that doesn’t mean that I forgave him. Whatever Mallika said was right everyone deserves a chance. My Lawyer already informed me this morning. We have to stay together in same house for 6 months then only we will get divorce. What if he really wants to change? Should I give him a chance or not. Well I think I should give him a chance to prove himself. He will live an ordinary life not as shivay Singh oberoi but only as shivay. If he succeed in this then I will accept my love for him. If not I will definitely forget that someone named shivay existed in my life.
