Recap: shivika spend their time in cooking and feeding each other.
Part 7
Shivay and Anika after eating went to their room. Anika changed into some comfortable dress. She was still not able to forget what happened in kitchen. She cursed herself for letting him close to her. She was so lost in the moment.
The way shivay fed Anika touched her heart and gave immense happiness to her. But at the same time it pained her a lot as she remembers this will last only for a week. She was deeply engrossed in her thoughts.
Shivay came to his room. He saw Anika lost in some other world. Without disturbing her he started to make arrangements for his next plan. After arranging everything he took a look of everything and felt satisfied. He went to Anika and called her.
” Anika, r u ready to watch movie”, said shivay.
” Hmm”, she said absent mindedly without noticing him. Her mind immediately registered his words and her eyes snapped out.
” What do you mean by movie? U don’t like to watch movies”, she said shockingly.
” I guess u r right but I have a challenge to complete”, saying so he winked at her.
” Promise?”, Anika asked confusingly.
That’s when she remembered a flash of incidents in her mind.
Flashback
” My dear bhabhis today is our movie day. Once in every two months whole oberoi clan will watch a movie together. Since all elders went out this time only youngsters are present it’s going to be a lot of fun”, Rudy exclaimed.
” Rudra, I don’t know from where you get all these days. Before 2 days u said it’s coffee day and before that fitness day and now u r telling it’s movie day. Because of this reasons u didn’t complete any of your assignment. Yesterday your college principal called me and complained about u to shivay”, said Anika.
” Hame harharayi ke bahut tayari karni hai Kal hamare ghar mein ek party bhi Hai”, added gauri.
” Oh no my bhabhis are not listening to me. They don’t care for me. They don’t like me and have time for me”, rudra started to cry.
” Rudra, please don’t cry. Ok baba sorry let’s watch movie”, Anika tried to pacify rudra.
” Rudra, u r my most handsome devar. So please stop crying”, gauri said winking at Anika.
” Yes, gauri is right u r the most handsome of all”, Anika added.
Hearing the word handsome rides stopped crying and ruffled his hair.
” I know bhabhi I am the most handsome of all. Girls go mad for me.”, said a smiling rudra.
Hearing this Anika and gauri smashed their foreheads with their hands.
They felt like iska kuch nahi ho sakta.
Everyone settled in a nearby couch.
Rudra was selecting movie. That’s when shivay came.
” What’s happening here?”, He questioned everyone.
” Woh actually bhaiya today is our movie day. I know u r busy nowadays that’s why I didn’t disturb you. If u want u Cain join us”, said rudra.
Shivay who was about to refuse saw Anika sittings in a corner of couch while others are busy with their respective partners. He decided to give up his idea.
” Well if u insist this much then I think I can watch a movie with all of u”, said shivay masking his level of excitement.
Everyone who heard this felt their mouth touching ground. Shivay stopped watching movies with his family before 2 years. While everyone was confused by his decision om understood his intention. He cleared his throat to gain everyone’s attention.
” Shivay why r u standing there? Come and sit here. The movie is about to start”, saying so he pulled shivay and made him sit beside Anika.
Anika’s face turned pink. It was for the first time she and shivay was sitting so close with each other. Shivay noticed her blushing slightly. He was very happy that he always had an effect on her. He leaned backward such that his back was touching the couch.
Movie started and everyone was so busy in watching it. Since it was an English movie Anika was not so interested in watching it but suddenly her eyes caught of something.
She saw an English man having eyes exactly that of shivay coming into screen followed by a girl who similarly looked like Anika. She turned her head around to see everyone reaction but it looked like they r busy in their own world. All she could find was a strong gaze staring at her and she very well knew it belongs to shivay.
She gasped a bit when shivay slide his hand around her shoulder helding it gently yet protectively. Luckily that gasp was not audible to others. He was smoothly caressing her shoulders. She suddenly felt heat rising between them.
She saw the screen and found that blue eyes hero doing the same thing with heroine on the screen. She now understood shivay’s intentions. Both of them are really close to each other. She could constantly feel his instant gaze upon her. She was worried thinking about the consequences.
When the hero was about
to kiss heroine screen went off. Shivay who was in full mood of romance got disturbed. Every boy present there groaned in frustration but the girls silently thanked God for saving them. Rudra tried to find the reason but before that Anika excused herself saying she need to call someone urgently.
She went to kitchen and took a bottle of ice water and drank it in one gulp.
” I think u need a cold shower Anika”, shivay said.
” What do you mean by that? I was thirsty so I drank water. Moreover I already bathed in morning and I am still fresh”, Anika answered shivay.
shivay mentally slapped himself after seeing his wife’s innocence.
” Well if you r thirsty u could have asked me water. It was just near to me”.
” Nothing like that I want to make a call and that’s why I came”.
” I never knew you could be so smart. U never told me u can call me without a phone”, saying so he showed her phone.
” Woh mein, u r right I was searching for my phone. Thank you for finding it”, she tried to snatch her phone from him.
” Why don’t you accept Anika? U came from there because u r afraid. I knew it was u who pulled that power switch deliberately.”
” It’s nothing like that and moreover I am not afraid anything”,
” If u r not afraid then come let’s go back and watch the movie”.
” Shivay I am not interested in English movies. I will definitely not watch that movie again”.
” U have to Anika. One or the other day u have to face the consequences of watching this movie”
” That day will never come shivay”.
” Challenge”, said shivay.
” Challenge accepted”, said Anika.
Shivay came close to her but she pushed him away and ran from there.
Flashback ends
” I hope you remember it”, she nodded her head in approval.
She was afraid of the consequences. She is already in so much pain. She can’t afford to get more. Movie started.
Shivay kept his hand on her shoulder and she shivered on his touch. She saw a kissing scene on screen. She closed her eyes tightly and looked down. He slowly cupped her face and asked her to open her eyes. She obliged and slowly opened his eyes. She could see his eye colour changing into a shade of grey. This was something new to her. She wasn’t able to decipher what’s running in his mind. He slowly caressed her cheeks with his fingers.
He leaned forward and gave a peck on her lips. Her world stopped for a second. Before he could do anything she pushed him away from her. He could see tear drops flowing from her eyes. She ran away from there while he constantly called her to come back.
Anika’s pov
Why God why you are punishing me like this? I didn’t do bad to anyone. U took away my parents, my chutki, my shivay and now u r also taking sahil from me. What wrong I have done? I thought staying away from shivay is going to be tough for me but staying with him is more difficult than that. My heart is breaking into million pieces when he comes near to me. It always remind me he will become someone’s else and I will be only left out with his memories. Whenever he comes near to me I lose all my senses. All I want is to be in his embrace. I need to be strong. I am ready to bear any extent of pain for my shivay’s happiness.
Shivay’s pov
How can I do this? I kissed her without her permission. I can see her broken from bottom of my heart. Why I feel she is hiding something from me. I hate to see tears from her eyes and I hate myself for being sole reason for her tears. No shivay, u should do this. U have to give her pain. U r not anika’s shivay but shivay Singh oberoi. Don’t forget she messed with u and no one messes with shivay Singh oberoi. She has to pay for this. But why I am not feeling happy seeing her tears. Why her tears are killing me? Thousands of questions are running in my mind. I am helpless for the first time Shivay Singh oberoi is helpless.
