Shivaay came to his house and unlocked the door.
S: (panicked) Anika! Anika!
He went from one room to another calling out her name but no response came and at last he came to kitchen and saw that Anika was laying on the tile floor. He ran to her and cupped her face.
S: Anika!
He lifted her in his arms and took her to their room and called a doctor immediately.
S: hallo doctor, Anika has suddenly gone unconscious, u plz come quickly.
Call disconnected. He rubbed Anika’s hands and feet.
S:If something happens to you, I will not be able to live with peace, I will die too, i shouldn’t go leaving u, online job will be goodz, at least I will be with u for 24/7. U r my habit, how can someone go leaving their habit behind. U can’t go leaving me, not today, not tomorrow, never ever.
The doorbell rung and he got up and went to answer the door and saw the doctor on the door.
S: doctor come I will tell u where’s Anika.
The doctor came inside and followed Shivaay to his room.
S: doctor here’s Anika, I was talking to her on phone, suddenly there was no response, when I came she was unconscious.
Dr: relax, I will see what’s the problem.
He checked her heartbeat, pulse rate, blood pressure, temperature and breathe.
Dr: her heartbeat is a little low, pulse rate is also low, blood pressure is abnormally high, temperature is also high and her breathe rate is lowered.
S: but all this will be fine if stress is taken the least, right?
Dr: stress is not at all good for her.
S: all that is right but doctor when she will be conscious then she will be alright.
Dr: I appreciate the level of your hope, but I am prescribing medication for her, do make her have them on time
S: but doctor all this is normal then why this medication?
Dr: look if all this would’ve been normal then she wouldn’t have vomited, look at her lips
Shivaay looked at her lips and wondered how he didn’t notice that.
Dr: I m telling u this is a serious case
S: but whats serious doctor? Altering the talk won’t help, what’s truth is the truth, what’s the conclusion of all this?
Dr: your friend is suffering from brain tumour, and to be very honest, there’s less chance of survival.
S: (angrily) what do u mean by there’s less chance of survival? Nothing is impossible, we just keep assuming things to be impossible that’s it, impossible itself says that I m possible so why is Anika’s survival impossible? Anika will live, I will take her to the best doctor,she will be safe for sure.
Dr: I hope so, well just to remind that give the medication on time.
S: thanks for your help, come doctor I will leave you till the door.
Shivaay went and dropped doctor till outside and sat beside Anika.
S: I said but will I really be able to help u? Nothing can be said that in this journey of life, what do we gain and what we lose, no one can say that what’s going to happen tomorrow, within the shadows of every happiness lies sorrow, in front of the world I will be able to smile but in loneliness, there would be only tears, till this tumour exists within u, my heart will remain tensed every second, every minute.

Anika woke up and Shivaay smiled and hugged him.
A: what happen Shivay? Why are you so tensed? What such happened?
S: I will tell everything but first u tell how u went unconscious?
A: I was talking to u when suddenly I got a terrible headache, I started sweating, my vision started to weaken, I couldn’t speak, but now I m totally fine.
S: what that u r fine? Do u know doctor was saying u have brain tumour, brain…tumor, do u know it’s meaning? You are near to death.
A: Shivaay what yr, he’s a doctor and not God, he haven’t proclaimed, nothing will happen to me, I know u will not let anything happen to me, u see Shivaay, God will never let me down, my trust on Him will win.
S: Anika if God really existed then this wouldn’t have ever happened.
A: (sigh) OK then Shivaay, I will also see that what wins, my trust on God or this pride of yours because of which u never thought of turning to him, u begged others for help and not Him, He gave u so much and u never even thanked him? How strange na Shivaay, I m in the mouth of death but still my trust is the same and u have only one lifeline and that’s me, u didn’t even pray, but what can I do? I will go and set the table so we can have food.
