Shivaay entered the house and as he opened the small fence door of the house, he was once again greeted with the feeling of nostalgia. He closed the small door and walked inside with slow steps. He saw Anika walking towards him smilingly. ‘Anika? Anika!’ he was about to touch her but she disappeared. He ruffled his hair shutting his eyes tightly and sighing loudly. ‘Anika, look what you did to me, now even if you’re not here, your memories are here and right now instead of cherishing them, they’re hurting me,’ he said and walked further gazing at the swing.
He stopped before the swing and touched it lovingly trying to feel the same as he felt before. The swing started to move on its own and he left it moving backwards as he heard the creepy screeching sound as in the horror movies. ‘La la la, lalla la lalalla, la la la la la la la la,’ he heard a singing voice and it made him smile. ‘Hmmmm, hmmm, hmmm, hmhmhm hmhmhm hmhmhm,’ the voice hummed and he smiled. ‘Anika, I know you’re here, or mat satao, ek baar apna deedar kara do, main tumhari aatma ko shaanti dilaunga, please Anika.’
He waited for her response sitting there on his knees but the swing kept on making screeching sounds and swinging on its own. ‘Anika main keh raha hoon na k sab theek hojaega, bas ek baar saamne to aao, jab tak tum saamne nahi aaogi, mera yeh dil bechain rahega, maine sach ka pata laga lia hai Anika, saamne aao Anika please,’ he said and then suddenly closed his eyes due to the bright light, he opened his eyes and saw her sitting on the swing. Her body glowed in the darkness, her lips plastered with a smile.
It was as if a magical creature has appeared before him. ‘Anika,’ he said softly and stood up sitting beside her, they shared a hug for which they longed. ‘Anika, ab jab mujhe sach pata hai, to ab tum batao aagay kya karna hai,’ he said to her. ‘Kya bataya hai us ne tumhe?’ she asked. He narrated everything to her. ‘Lier! He’s a very big lier, he’s lying Shivaay, nothing happened as such, I was killed, it wasn’t an accident, I am not lying Shivaay, believe me, he said that to hide the crime he did,’ Anika said enraged.
‘What? He lied? I won’t leave him, why aren’t you doing something? You should go and scare him, now he can’t do anything to you as you’re a soul,’ Shivaay said as she kept her head on his shoulder. ‘Shivaay you’re saying this? Don’t you know me? If it was possible, I would’ve scared him before but what to do? I m trapped over here in this house, I want to get out of here, I want to take my revenge,’ she said on the verge of crying. ‘OK ok, I will do something, why didn’t you tell me earlier?’
‘Every time some or the other thing happened so I couldn’t, that night when mummy ji got admitted in hospital, I didn’t had any intentions to kill her, she is like a mother to me, don’t know why she got scared, I came here on this swing and hummed my usual tune to make you come in front of me but she came instead, you were out of here since so long, I was missing you, its good you came, else I wouldn’t have got a chance to meet you again before I go to sky,’ she confessed casually.
‘So I came, right? And thanks that you reminded me that I have to meet mom,’ he said and she looked at him. ‘Mom? Why didn’t you meet her for so long?’ she asked. ‘Because my mind was occupied in finding the truth about you, anyways bye Anika, phir milengay, Rudra or Om mera wait kar rahay hongay,’ he replied and stood up to go but she held his hand and he looked back. ‘You will come na?’ she asked and he nodded in positive hugging her and kissing her forehead, she disappeared in a couple of minutes in thin air.
Shivaay came home and threw the things here and there. Omkara and Rudra came downstairs and stopped him. ‘What happened bhai? Why are you so angry?’ Omkara asked him. ‘Yes bhai why? What did Daksh say?’ Rudra asked. ‘What will he say? He blamed Anika, like seriously? Ulta chor kotwaal ko daantay? Anika ki galti nahi thi, sab Daksh ne hi kiya hoga, kiun k jab main trip se waapis aya tha to Anika stairs se giri pari thi, mere aanay se pehle hi marr gayi,’ he told them. ‘Lekin bhai aisa bhi to hosakta hai k bhabhi khud hi girgai ho, Daksh ne to kuchh kiya hi na ho,’ Rudra said. ‘Aisa nh hosakta hai yaar, abhi abhi Anika mili thi, usne kaha uski jaan li gayi hai or merit Anika kabhi jhoot nahi bolti hai,’ he said ruffling his hair. ‘We’ll have to look for a proof against him,’ Omkara said and Shivaay nodded and went to his room. He saw Shivika standing on the window of her room. ‘Shivu,’ he called and she turned back smiling at him and ran to him hugging him. ‘Baby is very happy today, anything special?’ he asked smiling at her.
‘Yes, mumma said that she will come back and live with us again in next lifetime,’ she told him. ‘Awww,’ he said and picked her up twirling her as her childish melodious laughter filled the room. He put her on the bed as she laughed. ‘Papa have got a new lullaby for you,’ he said and she smiled. ‘Toh sunao na papa,’ she said cutely. ‘Ok.’
Aaja Nindiya Raina Beet Jaye Re
Raina Beetein Nindiya Kyun Na Aaye Re
Raathon Ke Saaye Hai
Saaye Se Na Dar Ho..
Aaja Nindiya Rehna Beeti Jaye Re
Koi Nahi Hai Phir Kyun
Sehmi Hai Pari
Hmmm..Maane Hawayein
Gehere Sannaton Se Bhari
Hai Tera Veham
Ke Hai Koi Yeh Idhar Ho..
Aaja Nindiya Raina Beeti Jaye Re
Sapne Kitne
Renge Palkon Pe Kahin..
Hmm.. Aahat Aati Hai
Neendein Aati Hi Nahin..
Lehraati Hai Koi
Parchaai Aankhon Par
Ho O…
Aaja Nindiya
Raina Beeti Jaaye Re..
Ho.. Raina Beetein
Nindiya Kyun Na Aaye Re..
Kyun Na Aaye Re..
