Hiii friends… Actually after watching the saturday’s episode of IB, this thought striked my mind soo I’m here with this.
This is completely a different story from the serial & has no link with it. Hope you will like it.
Here goes the 1st part….
Anika’s pov:
It was morning, i was sleeping on my bed hugging my pillow. I can hear that my phone was ringing. When I saw the phone the screen flashed mallika’s name. I kept back my phone & opened the door only to see mallika standing there. By looking at me she asked whether I cried again. As usual I nodded in -ve but she caught me again. She just hugged me & assured that everthing will be fine. She asked me to get ready. I asked whether it is really necessary for me to attend the function. She nodded in +ve & hugged me again & said “Not for his sake, atleast come for our sake”. I broke the hug & went to the room to get ready for the function. Yes, it was the engagement function of the person whom I love with his lover. I’m unable to digest this fact, I cried silently & after a few min I composed myself & got ready. I went towards mallika & asked where our gang is??.
Mallika pov:
I was waiting outside & continously calling her for a long time but she was not responding. After few min she opened the door, I can see, her eyes are red & can easily understand that she was sobbing the last night. I can understand her feelings, it is really hard to attend the engagement of our love with other person. She was not willing to come to the function but it is a type of get-to-gether for our friends & also to get her out of this situation friends are the best medicine I guess. She went in & took a quite long time for getting ready, by this act I can make out that she was crying again. I called sid and said him about the situation, he asked me not to worry & bring her as they were waiting for us at the venue. I ended the call & saw her being ready, she was looking soo pretty in this attire, I wonder how that stupid missed this cute, sweet, crazy girl. She asked about our friends & I said her that they are already at venue. I took her with me but I can sense that she was still crying.
When we reached the venue I can see her somewhat relived but I guess this is not enough to get back our past anika. Yes, she was the happiest & craziest girl two months ago but now she lost all her charm. I hope god will send her medicine of happiness soon I.e the one who can make her the old anika & who can take her pain giving happiness to her.
Anika pov:
Finally we reached the venue. Now I must compose myself & act to be happy. I went to my friends gang & hugged everyone. We were meeting after many days, we were complimenting each other, sharing imp matter’s with each other & doing masti. I feel relived by being with them. May be they were the only reason of my happiness.
Shivaay pov:
Finally we reached the venue. The journey from Mumbai to Bangalore with my friends was a treat. We are here to attend this engagement of our best friends. The engagement is at evening but still we came early to meet our friends, tease them & enjoy with our gang. We went to them, wished them. As they were busy they asked us to be at the terrace & they will join soon. We came to the terrace & started playing some random games as usual. When we are playing anthyakshari & the turn is of me, to enlighten the situation, I started singing my fav song from ddlj.

When I’m singing this I can hear a girl continuing my song. We started singing the whole song
I- with the male version.
She- with the female version.
Her voice is soo sweet, it caught my ears wanting more to listen of that. After completion of song I ignored my friends teasings & went to her & complimented her that she had a sweet voice. With a jerk she saw me, smiled at me & went off. How rude?? I complimented her but she didn’t even react. I just thought to ignore her.
Anika’s pov:
I, with my frnds came to him (Daksh) the person whom I loved but was getting engaged to another girl in few hours. We wished him, as he was busy with his relatives he asked us to be at the terrace & then he will be joining us. We stepped towards the terrace I can hear my fav song from ddlj. I don’t know why but I was lost somewhere in my dreamland & unknowingly started singing the song. After the song ended I was startled to see a person staring at me with his blue-green kanji eyes. I just gave a smile & left from there. I with my friends left to the other side of terrace & were having fun there. Like this doing masti with my friends, teasing them, the time was passing. Finally the time has come, the evening.I don’t know whether I can stay strong & watch the engagement but I tried my level best. When he was about to wear the ring to her I’m unable to control myself & left from there with tears in my eyes.
Shivaay pov:
Finally my friend was about to wear the ring to his girl. But the girl who was walking outside with tears caught my attention. She was the same girl who was singing with me in the morning, I just followed her. She was sitting on a bench & was crying vigorously, I went to her & tried to console her but she was not at all listening to me & also to my surprise she hugged me tight & sobbing. I guessed the matter & reciprocated the hug as she needs support now. I tried many ways to make her calm, distract & console but none worked I thought of an idea & took off my ring from my finger & put it on her finger & said “See now u r also engaged with me, stop crying now, else you fiancee will also start crying”. This act i done only to distract her but due to my sudden act she broke the hug & started scolding.
Anika pov:
I left from there & sat on a bench crying. A guy came to me and tried to console me. He is the same khanji eyed man. I need a support badly & not being in my senses I just hugged him. First he tried to console, support me but later he took advantage of this situation. He wore a ring to my finger & said that we are engaged. I was dumbstruck by his act I slowly got up from there and started scolding him, but to my surprise he was simply smiling. My anger is on peaks & I scolded him more but his words surprised as well as shocked me. He said with a cute puppy face “Why are you behaving as if you don’t like me, you also like me naa??” . I widened my eyes & started scolding again. He again said “If I was wrong then why are you still keeping my ring with you??”. With this I took the ring and throwed at his face & about to shout at him but mallika came to me and dragged me with her. When I was leaving I turned towards him only to find him staring at me with a smile, he winked at me & signed to smile. I turned my face to front & recalled the convo with him, a slight smile crept over my lips. This was the first smile I had after 2 sad months.
Mallika pov:
The engagement was done & suddenly I thought of anika & turned back only to find her missing. I informed sid about this & we both started searching her. After searching at many places I found her outside scolding a person & he was staring at her with a smile. I went to her & dragged her with me. When we were walking I’m really surprised to see her smiling. This was the first time I saw her smiling whole heartedly after these 2 sad months. I looked back at the person & saw him starring at anika with a smile.
So, done with my update. In this ff mallika & sid only know about anika’s love matter. In next part i will introduce anika’s & shivaay’s friends gang & their masti. Hope you like it. Please let me know about your views about this & whether to continue or not. Bye for now.
