Shoaib Ibrahim reveals his initial plan was to quit Ajooni but his wife opposed his decision

Shoaib Ibrahim recently opened up about his decision to leave the TV show Ajooni, he revealed that his wife, Dipika Kakar, initially disagreed with his choice. In a vlog, Shoaib shared the exciting news of becoming a father to a baby boy and explained his reasons for wanting to dedicate more time to his family.

Shoaib expressed that during the nine months of Dipika’s pregnancy, he couldn’t be there for her as much as he wanted to be due to his work commitments. He made efforts to spend time with her after the shooting, but he felt that both Dipika and the baby needed him now. Recognizing the unpredictable nature of their profession, he acknowledged that work would continue throughout his life.

Although Dipika was initially hesitant about his decision, Shoaib explained his desire to be present for her and their baby for at least three to four months. He intended to search for new work opportunities after that period. However, it was the understanding and cooperation of the production house that made him reconsider his choice and ultimately stay on the show.

Shoaib expressed gratitude to the producers for listening to his concerns and finding a way to accommodate his needs. They sat down with him, understood his situation, and encouraged him to find a balance between work and fatherhood. This support from the production house was rare in today’s times, and Shoaib appreciated their understanding. He acknowledged that being the lead actor in a show comes with its challenges, but he wanted to prioritize Dipika’s well-being, considering the physical and emotional toll of postpartum depression.

After careful consideration, Shoaib had initially informed the production house that he would leave the show after his contract expired in July. However, they responded by reducing his shooting hours and the number of days he needed to be on set. Additionally, they granted him a 15-day break when he needed to be with his family after the premature delivery, even though it was unexpected.

Shoaib’s decision to continue with the show under these adjusted circumstances brought relief to his fans who enjoy watching him on Ajooni.
