Shocking!! Bigg Boss contestant Sonali Phogat passes away dur to cardiac arrest

Sonali Phogat who became a household name with her stint in BIgg Boss 14 has passed away in Goa today. As per the news doing the rounds she had a cardiac arrest due to which she breathed her last. The politician and BJP leader was 41 years old and is survived by her daughter, Yashodha. Sonali’s close friends and Bigg Boss inmates are in a state of shock and no one is able to believe that Sonali is no more.

All of her co contestants from the show have shared their sincerest condolences for her and have shared how she was such a nice and a genuine human. When a leading daily contacted, Aly Goni, who was unaware of the news was left stunned and could not react to the news.

Pavitra Punia was equally shocked and said, “This is terrible news. I am shocked and can’t believe this is true. Oh my god, my heart goes for her young daughter. She has lost both her parents at such a young age. That beautiful kid, I am feeling bad for her. She would always talk about her daughter in the Bigg Boss house. This is such sad news news.”

Arshi Khan, who got along with Sonali during Bigg Boss 14 and was one of her closest friends inside shared, “When I first learned about the news I was shocked and I am still unable to believe this had happened. She was in Goa. I feel it can’t happen. She had called me on August 7th and informed me that she is coming to Mumbai in the last week of August and wanted to meet me. We had plans of partying together at my place, I had invited her. We had even met a few months ago in Delhi at Taj she was with her politician friends. We had a great time there and now see what has happened. We are discussing the news WhatApp group that we have on Bigg Boss 14, and nobody is able to believe this Rubina, Abhinav everyone is shocked. Sonali and I would often meet.”

She further added, “We had developed a great bond inside the Bigg Boss house, she was my bed partner, we would share a bed. She really cared about me and would take care of my food. We would sit till late in the night and talk to each other. She would caress my hair and say that you are like my daughter Yashodhara. Tu umar mein badi hai par tera bachpana waise he hai.. If I made a mistake, I would apologise to her later. She was a very good lady.”

Sonali had contested the last assembly election as BJP candidate from Adampur Assembly constituency against Kuldeep Bishnoi. Bishnoi had gone to meet her at her residence last week. Police authorities are yet to confirm the details of Phogat’s demise.
