It’s a time in our telly industry when audience is so dynamic that the makers are not sure if the content they are serving will be loved or not. Some shows get pulled off air just after a few episodes, some get cancelled after the channel doesn’t approve the pilot episode but something new has happened to the sequel of Shaadi Ke Siyappe.
The sequel titled Naye Shaadi ke Siyappe was in the making and the production team had already shot for four episodes of the new season. The promo of the show was already on air and we heard that shoot has not been put on hold. The rumors say that there are differences between the channel and the production team.
The first season of the show was not up to the mark but there were some things which were absolutely and completely loved by the viewers. Keeping those in mind, the creative team and the production team put together their efforts for a second season. The makers now want a second opinion from the audience before taking the show on air.
In a recent interaction with Bombay Times, Producer Vishal Watwani said, “This is an experiment, and it’s in a totally different space. NSKS will be competing with reality shows. According to the marketing research, it has got a good response. We are testing waters and will see if the ratings come in. So, for now, the shoot has been put on hold. There are no creative issues with the channel.”
Now the fate of Vipul Shah’s new show hangs in balance.
