Few months ago when we saw Alam Makkar take out a ring, go down on his knees to propose to the girl, he was in love with, we thought that Shraddha Arya had said yes and the two got engaged. But now in a shocking revelation Shraddha has revealed that she is not engaged to Alam as yet.
On the dance reality show Nach Baliye 9, we saw that Shraddha and Alam were head over heels in love with each other. They were promising not just because they were dancing their way to our hearts but also because they were in the true sense the bailye we signed up for.
But the dance which made us believe that the two were engaged was a mere act and not a reality. Shraddha revealed it in an interview to Bombay Times that it was just for their act. Arya even expressed her surprise on how she doesn’t get that these rumors of their engagement came from as that instance of proposing and placing a ring was just a part of their act. She also mentioned that the ring that Alam proposed her with was in fact borrowed from the set.
She, however, made it clear to her fans that she and Alam are dating each other but engagement is not on their mind. She concluded by saying that they have just been dating for the last 8-9 months and are still in the process of getting to know each other and hence don’t want to rush into anything.
