The Episode starts with Kaikeyi coming to Dasharath. She sees Sumitra, Kaushalya and Sumanth crying. She cries. Ram feels upset. Dasharath dies. Its morning, Ram stays lost. Sita and Laxman walk along. They hear some birds sound. Laxman says it seems there is approaching danger. Sita says someone is screaming in pain. Ram sees some smoke forming in the air. They go to see. The devils trouble the Rishis. Ram attacks them with an arrow. He comes there with Laxman. The devil says you are making a big mistake, I will sacrifice you with these Rishis. Laxman gets angry. Ram says this attack is just to warn you, there is no benefit in violence, free the Rishis. Sita looks on. The devil disappears and appears somewhere else. He laughs. He attacks Sita. Ram pulls her back. He asks Sita to go away. He says
The devils take the form of deer. Laxman and Ram point the arrows at the deer. He says they are good in creating illusion, how will we shoot the arrow at them. Ram says we have to use all our senses, not just our eyes. Laxman says I understood. They close eyes and hear the deer’s footsteps. They shoot the deer. The devils come back to their form. They lie dead.
Rishis smile and come there. They thank Ram and praise Ahilya. Laxman says yes, Ram is Dasharath’s son. Rishi says stay back with us and save us from the devils. Ram says we will stay here. Sumitra and Kaushalya see Dasharath. Guru Vashisht says I m proud that Dasharath has kept the respect of Raghuvansh tradition. He says this world will always remember you, you used to touch my feet with respect, I fold hands to you today.
Sumanth says Dasharath has left, we have to follow the customs. Guru Vashisht says eldest son gives the fire to father’s pyre. Sumanth says its impossible to get Ram, maybe he comes back hearing about Maharaj’s leaving. Maharaj will get peace if Ram occupies the throne. Guru Vashisht says Ram can’t break the promise, we can never get Ram, Sita and Laxman back before the exile. Sumanth asks how will we keep Dasharath’s body, Bharat and Shatrughan will come after a few days. Guru Vashisht says we will preserve his body. He asks soldiers to inform Bharat and Shatrughan to come back to Ayodhya. He says don’t let them know about Maharaj’s death and Ram’s exile, else they can’t come here. Guard leaves. Kaikeyi recalls Dasharath and cries. Manthara comes and says Bharat is coming back, he is Ayodhya’s future king, but why are you worried. Kaikeyi says I m worried about the questions that will come with Bharat, what will I tell him.
She asks did I do anything wrong. Manthara says no, you did this for your son’s betterment, don’t lose his future, do you want him to sit on the throne or not. Kaikeyi says I also want the best for my son. Manthara asks why are you in dilemma, you have done right, Maharaj said that he died because of the curse of Shravan’s dad, you aren’t the reason, control your emotions when Bharat comes, you have to guide him. Kaikeyi says but Maharaj’s final rites… Manthara says his body is preserved until his sons come, Bharat will come and do his final rites, Ayodhya has accepted that Bharat will do the final rites. Dasharath’s body is preserved. Kaikeyi comes there. Sumitra scolds her. Kaushalya asks her to calm down. Sumitra says Kaikeyi’s evil plotting has written this pain for us. Kaikeyi cries.
