Shubhangi Atre takes a break from ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ for her daughter’s higher studies
In the midst of rumors surrounding Shubhangi Atre’s departure from the popular show “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain,” their are fresh reports suggesting that the talented actress is not quitting the show. Instead, she will be taking a brief 20-day break to accompany her daughter as she pursues her higher studies at the prestigious University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Astrophysics.
In a recent interview, Shubhangi expressed her excitement and shared, “My daughter’s academic journey is of utmost importance, and I want to be there to support and settle her down at the university. We seek everyone’s blessings for her bright future.”
Addressing concerns about her absence impacting the show, Shubhangi reassured her fans, “I’m immensely grateful to Benaifer Kohli ji for understanding and accommodating my commitment to my daughter’s education. The production team has been aware of this plan for the past six-seven months, and we’ve sorted everything out. Although I’ll be on leave, viewers will still see me on screen.”
Shubhangi’s temporary departure will commence on August 10, and she is set to return on the 28th, bringing relief to her dedicated fans who adore her portrayal of Angoori Bhabhi. Since joining the show in 2016, she has won the hearts of the audience, stepping into the shoes of the beloved character after Shilpa Shinde’s exit.
Notably, the show also saw another significant event as Vidisha Srivastava, who plays Anita Bhabhi, embraced motherhood in July. The sitcom stars Rohitashv Gour as Angoori Bhabhi’s husband and Aasif Sheikh as Anita Bhabhi’s husband.
With this clarification, audiences can rest assured that their favorite Angoori Bhabhi will be back on the screen, and Shubhangi Atre’s dedication to both her profession and family shines through. Let’s wish her daughter all the success in her academic pursuit!
