Shweta Tiwari, who is all set to be featured in an upcoming web series, has landed in soup after making a controversial statement at a press conference. The conference also had co-stars Rohit Roy, Sourabh Raaj Jain, and Digangana Suryavanshi.
At the press conference, Sourabh was being mocked for essaying the role of Lord Krishna in several shows and now essaying the role of a bra fitter in the upcoming web series.
Shweta added to this and said, “Bhagwan se seedha bra fitter. Matlab jump toh dekho…Meri bra ka size ‘bhagwan’ le rahe hain.”
While everyone had a good laugh at it, the statement has now gone viral. Many are condemning it including Madhya Pradesh’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra. The Home Minister has asked Bhopal’s police commissioner to submit a report within 24 hours. He also took to his Twitter account and wrote, “The statement given by actress #ShwetaTiwari in Bhopal is condemnable. Bhopal Police Commissioner Makrand Deuskar has been directed to examine the facts and context and submit a report within 24 hours, on the basis of which a decision will be taken.”
Shweta has been a part of the entertainment industry for more than two decades. She is known for her performance in shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Bigg Boss, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan, Begusarai among several others.
