I do love the couple a lot… Here we go…
Neil returned from police station to find home locked. He sighed. It was almost midnight and he had yet again broken his promise that he made to avni to take her for a dinner. He took out the spare key and entered home. He went to their room and found a note on his cupboard from avni that read, “Neil, I was feeling scared alone at home coz I watched a horror movie… So I am going to neela maa’s home. I have kept dinner in the dining table… Don’t skip it.. Love you…. Bye.”
He smiled. And he brought the paper close to him and inhaled her scent from it. He went down and had dinner. He came back to room and his gaze fell on their pictures.
She looked pretty and she still does. He thought of them. Since he had become busy in his work, he spent less time in home and she was the most understanding. She never demanded his time until he was home and was doing nothing.
He picked up his mobile to call her but realized it was late and shrugged off the option.
He lied on the bed but her thoughts seem to disturb him to a very large extent that he wanted to meet her… He wanted to meet her now… Hug her tight… Inhale her sweet feminine scent… The scent that made him crazy… Kiss her… And never let her go from his arms… Cuddle her.. He wanted her now.
He made his mind to meet her now and got up.
Avni sat in her bed looking at their pictures in her mobile. She was expecting his call. But he had not called yet. She smiled seeing his shirt that she had got with her. Many times when Neil did not return from police station, she would hug his shirt and doze off thinking about the stomach churning effect he had on her. She blushed thinking of him again. She wanted to spend her entire time with him but he had become extremely busy and she wanted to support him in every phase of his life… Their life… She smiled… He had made her life a bliss… Taught her to smile and laugh, forget her past and move on. She was disappointed that he broke his promise but he would also be sad that plan was cancelled, so she did not want to get angry. That’s when she saw the creepy horror movie and came to neela maa’s home because she was scared. But she could not sleep here as well. The only thing she could was to put on his shirt and lie down. As she wore it, she imagined Neil close to her and blushed.
Neil came to her home and decided that he would enter her room by climbing the pipe. Love makes you do weird things. He climbed the pipe and finally got the grip of her window. Using soft feet… He entered her room. He saw her in his shirt. He smiled. She was far beyond understanding. He walked to her to find her sleeping peacefully. He touched her cheek. Her soft cheeks ignited something inside him and bent down to kiss her. She woke up startled and found him. He smiled. Crooked smile of his which made her weak. She touched his face and smiled.
“Avni..” he called her. His voice was so husky that it made her shiver.
He cupped her face and came closer. She closed her eyes. His lips touched her and she forgot everything. His hands shamlessly reached onto her waist under the shirt and she reached for his silky hair. They broke from the kiss after what it seemed infinity. She smiled and hugged him tight burying her face in his chest. He hugged her back and inhaled her scent.
“I love you avni. ” he said.
“I love you too Neil. ” whispered the shy girl.
