Bigg Boss is going through it’s first finale week and in a mid week eviction, we saw writer Siddharth Dey making his way out of the house. In an interaction with BT, he opened up about his Bigg Boss journey and how he was subjected to inhuman behavior during one of the nomination tasks. He shared about the torture that he went through and how he was ill-treated by the contestants who used bleach and red chilli powder on him during a task. He revealed that he suffered burns and is under medication even now.
Showing the scars on his body, Siddharth finally talked about her misery. He then said, “Usually when people apply bleach on their face or body they don’t keep it beyond 7 to 8 minutes. But the bleach was applied on my body especially around the neck area and was on it for more than 8 to 9 hours. They had put around 1 kg bleach which had a worse effect on my neck. I suffered severe burns and the infection got inside 1 inch deep and then they had also put around 1 kg red chilli powder. They call it task. It was in immense pain, but I didn’t mean to harm or hurt anyone. My only aim was to keep them away and I tried to be funny but then I went overboard. I am very regretful and remorseful. Whatever the situation was, I should not have said those things. I wanted to stop them in a positive way, but the situation got out of control.”
Siddhartha added further, “Because of the injury I couldn’t sleep properly and developed several other issues like dizziness. My eyes were swollen and I couldn’t see properly for a few days. But I am extremely apologetic and anything that hurts anybody is wrong.”
The makers too are facing the wrath of the fans as they didn’t show the real side of how the things wee in the house. Even Siddharth’s scars didn’t make it through the cuts.
