Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka 13th September 2018 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
Kunal and Nandini were taken aback as they turn and see Mauli staring at them from a distance. Tears filled Mauli’s eyes while she stood only motionless. It begins the rain. Mauli recalls Rajdeep’s warnings about Kunal and Nandini’s affair, Chakor’s doubts she had laughed at, Rajdeep claiming Kunal as Nandini’s lover, Zoya’s advice… The rain water washed away her sindoor. Mauli drops the aarti thaal and fell down on floor, losing her balance. Kunal and Nandini head to help but she stops them with her hand. She gets up with the keys of Kunal’s clinic, walks towards Kunal weakly and place the keys in his hands. She says congratulations, these are keys to his clinic. Kunal recalls his vow to start a clinic of his own within the same year. She turns around and runs away. Kunal sends Nandini home while he follows Mauli. Mauli fell on the floor having lost the courage to be able to walk ahead. She recalls all her best times with Kunal. Kunal reaches her, he asks her to come home and he can explain anything. Mauli doesn’t let him touch her and says she needs sometime. Kunal wasn’t ready to leave her in such a condition alone. Mauli instead trembles and shouts at him to Go. Kunal steps backward. Agonized, Mauli screams and cries.
Nandini shuts the apartment door behind her, haunted by Rajdeep’s words that if she couldn’t belong to her husband, she couldn’t belong to even her best friend. She gets a call from Kunal. Nandini says he shouldn’t have left her alone, what if she do anything wrong. Kunal was sure Mauli was strong. Nandini cries wondering how she will face Mauli. Kunal wonders what face even he would carry to her?
Nandini speaks to Mauli’s photo that she never wanted to ruin her world. Mauli had given her a new life, a family and a worth in life. She never realized when love intervened, but she can’t live without anyone Mauli or Kunal. She never wished to ruin Mauli’s life, it only happened unintentionally.
Mauli recalls everyone cautioning her against Nandini, her mother and Rajdeep. How she always gave Nandini the confidence and love.
Someone brings a tissue for Nandini. She was shocked and turns to see it was Rajdeep. He forcefully wipes her tears and says he is really impressed, it seemed Mauli was her friend still she ruined Mauli’s life. Nandini tells him to leave. Rajdeep says he came by foot into the house only, and Nandini went into her friend’s married life. She got restraining orders, and made his spying easy. He has witnessed the whole block buster, their joggings, and hugs in café. If Nandini even realize what’s women like her called? Mauli wasn’t tired of praising her and she got Kunal behind herself? Kunal rejected his business proposal, and insulted him in front of everyone. He clutches Nandini’s neck asking what’s in Kunal that isn’t in him. But at least now, people would thank him for treating her abusively. He will now ruin Kunal’s life, thanks to Nandini to clearing his way up. He leaves the house. Nandini fells on the floor, timidly.
Kunal returns home and cries in silence. He recalls his best times with Mauli. Mauli returns home late and silently locks herself into the room. Kunal was left knocking the door. Soon, Mauli opens the door draped in red saree like Nandini. Kunal was taken aback. Mauli asks if she now looks like Nandini. Her dress, jewellry and everything… he likes this only right? She tries to shy away and offers him what he would eat? Kunal was ashamed. Mauli asks if this is what flattered Kunal? She only wants to know what it that she couldn’t give him was. Is she a bad wife, or a bad daughter in law? She did everything. They were a perfect couple, how could someone come in between. She always considered her marriage as the best one. She wonders what was missing and what was left behind? Kunal says there was nothing she left. Mauli fell on the floor, demanding why then? Kunal cries silently as he sits beside her. Mauli says he must tell her a reason, any irresponsibility, any mistake; if helping her friend was wrong, or giving her a new life was wrong. If bringing her home was wrong. They brought her together, when did Kunal allow her into his heart? They only had to support her, not to love her. She always thought Kunal was also her well-wisher, but was sure Kunal loved herself (Mauli). She corrects herself that Kunal loved her only, he doesn’t love her anymore. She and Nandini are way different. She hysterically looks towards her attire and says this isn’t her, its Nandini; she doesn’t even want to be Nandini. Mauli never makes up, and show all this grace and innocence. She pulls her jewellry, her ears bleed. Kunal was concerned and stops her. Mauli says this is only physical bleeding but what about her bleeding heart? If her bruises would ever fill?
Mauli blames herself for being busy. She was as well blinded. People poked into her eyes to make her able to see their reality. She stuffed her ears instead only because of her trust over him. Where she was wrong, she had to trust her best friend and her husband. She took time out of her schedule and completed Kunal’s dream. Kunal only looks towards her sadly. Mauli cries feeling herself as filthy, she requests him to tell her what she missed doing? She can’t live with this guilt and this filth? Kunal holds her above the floor but she resists his touch. He wipes his tears.
PRECAP: Nandini decides to go to Mauli, why Kunal should bear the punishment alone?

though many of us are blaming the story line, but this is the reality.. ajkal esa hota hai aur this serial is giving message to every husband and wife not to betray their partner. extra marital affairs are increasing..
Affectionate. Friendly. Highly accomplished. Software engineer. Mother of two lovely kids. Married.
After 14 years of marriage, many vacations and two children, Shalini felt that she needed more in life. She went away on solo vacations, took up yoga and meditation and realized that she still needed more.
She had more to give (read love). And at 38, she could not waste it by sitting at home and waiting for her partner to figure out what she needed. That’s when Rohit entered her life and she started having a rocking affair.
Shah Rukh Khan once said in an interview relating to the film Kabhi Alvida Na Kahana or KANK that extramarital relationships happen in the society itself. And that in turn influences the films.
Infact many of our films both Hindi and regional ones revolve around extra-marital relationships as their theme. To name a few are Choker Bali, Silsila, Saheb, Bibi Ghulam and others. As for KANK, one question often comes to the mind if Karan Johar has done another Silsila? That can only be decided by film experts and critics. But in the context of extra-marital relationships, we may ask if such relationships are common within our society.
The answer is yes, they are. And in comparatively older times, they also prevailed.
Mahesh Bhatt’s Arth is remembered for its sensitive portrayals of ‘the other woman’ factor in marriage. Extra-marital relationships do exist in our society and there are thousands of housewives who are confined within the four walls of loveless marriages.
Even in TV soaps we see a lot of extra-marital relationships and viewers are willing to empathize with the characters, if the story is strong enough.
In Jhumpa Lahiri’s Interpreter of Maladies, in a short story ‘s*xy’ we find how a young Midwestern woman Miranda is drawn into a tantalising affair with a married Bengali economist Devajit Mitra. It touches us. “It was cold but sunny, and so she walked all the way down Commonwealth Avenue, past the restaurants when Dev has kissed her…” Not for a single moment that we thought anything bad about Miranda and Dev.
But in reality, a few years ago a Boeing chief executive’s romantic relationship with a colleague created a scandal, which in turn led to his ouster. He later resigned voluntarily.
Now men and women are quite open to free mixing, particularly in workplaces. Office means anything between 10-15 hours. On crunch days, timings can be crazier – with going home for maybe just a change of clothes. So, for the married ones there is hardly anytime left to share with spouses. At first there develops a sense of at homeness and then closeness with colleagues – and one thing leads to the other.
The relationships which we are calling ‘extramarital’ happen to people, even unawares. It cannot be judged like something good or bad. It happens. Being forewarned is forearmed, and prevention is always better than cure. And these extramarital relationships which happen in our society are very often repeated clichés but at the same time, also highly steeped in reality.
Top reasons most frequently quoted for infidelity and having extra-marital affairs include:
* In love with someone
* Variety is the spice of life
* Boredom
* Often to seek revenge
* Desire for emotional support and intimacy
Okay I get your argument. But it isn’t pertinent to all cases. For instance look at the first story you’ve broached. She is married with two kids, was bored after 14 years of marriage. Doesn’t justify affair but she never once thought about her kids mental well being, was her husband abusive towards her? Was he incapable of loving her? Couldn’t they both find a solution if they just had a heart to heart talk? She found the easiest way out to get rid of her boredom. I haven’t read the short story of the said author but I presume it’s a fictional story just like this serial. Again I feel for the wife of the said economist. He’s allured to have an whirlwind affair just to satiate his lust. Again it depends on which perspective you choose. In reality it’s wise to not trust other person and trust your own self to move through life. Human emotions are complex. Why complicate life when you know this simple truth. That being said, there are people who stay with one person through their life and stay by em till the last breath. Right now due to the advent of technology and availability of emotional abundance online it’s no wonder people find it easier to cheat. Justify cheating is the norm in today’s world. Reasons such as “Oh but it’s only love, it can happen again and again (count innumerable times), it’s only natural” “He/she strayed cuz they were bored” “They were busy, it’s only natural” “He received emotional support from his colleague rather than his partner, so it’s justified” “They swapped wives in a roulette game, one of the couple started the affair and the other one started to take revenge on the said couple”. But the cheating partners seldom realize the effect of affairs on children. Some children born out of affairs are given up for adoption, some are left picking up pieces of a shattered home. Why should children bear the brunt of being trampled on by a person’s selfish desire to have his/her lust fulfilled? Would it rather not be sensible to talk with your partner rather than keep an affair to satiate your needs? Nowadays people find it easy to have an affair than speak with their partner.
Okay guys future spoilers ahead. Mauli will ask Kunal to leave the house and go to nandini. She says “I’ve let you go, please don’t come back to me forever”. The shameless @ss instead of feeling guilty for his deeds goes and lives with the ? woman happily. There will be a leap. Mauli will get a new love and things turn shitty from this point like rest of the serials. Nandini cannot bear any child so Mauli will become a surrogate to the @sshole’s and the ?’s baby. Really writers? Getting deceived once is all it takes a person not to talk with the said person and break all relations with him/ her. ? Nandini broke Mauli twice (once when she wanted rajdeep instead of choosing Mauli and later when she slept with Kunal who was Mauli’s husband), then why the heck should Mauli help ? again and again? It doesn’t make any sense. It’d really be a different serial (albeit definitely a good one) if it shows Mauli’s journey through the betrayals to find happiness for herself. I don’t want another surrogacy drama. It’s over used and boring( Regurgitated ?). And I don’t want a twist which has ? bearing Mauli’s child. *Shivers in a corner like gandhini* Puhlease writers stop smoking weed (affects productivity) and start writing a decent reality based story of tribulations of the victim of adulterous affair.
No no this would be really boring track.. they will ruin this unique drama.. instead they should show mauli’s strong journey after betrayal.. no need to show any new love interest of mauli as of now as she has already betrayed by her loved once and it will be unrealistic to show mauli falling for someone so soon after heart break.
These things happen in real life . Advice to women never introduce your best friend to your husband .
Mauli gave so much love and attention to nandu yet right in front of her eyes she betrayed her best friend .
Rajdeep was a villion but really enjoyed his comical scenes. Awsome
And that Kunal…. disgusting u do to ur wife . Tomorrow nandu will find someone and leave I too . Ur wife is perfect
Best dialogs of mauli:
1) “Ab lag rahi hu na nandini jaisi, yahi sab pasand aya hoga na tumhe”
2) “Ye mai nahi hu ye nandini hai or mai aisi banna bhi nahi chahti, or ye mai nahi hu to itne saal pyar kisse karte the”
3) “Hum ne to usse apna samjha tha tumne to apna hi bana liya”
4) ” Hum dono ne milke use ghar me jaga di thi fir tumne kaise use apne dil me jaga de di”
She nailed it totally.. don’t know how many viewers have been cried while watching this..
Also I liked Kunal’s acting and that guilt on his face he was like “ye maine kya kar diya”.
It will be interesting to see what decison these 3 will take.
What I don’t understand is, everyone knew this day was going to come. They knew that Kunal and nandini are going to betray mauli. They know that the track was going to happen.
Why watch the show if you don’t want to see Kunal and nandini together or mauli’s tears. It’s just stupid.
Or have you all come here only to bash the poor actors who are doing such a fabulous job.
The story has been embellished and is really dramatic but then what else can one expect from a soap… However, it was always known that Kunal and nandini are going to hurt mauli. So either you shouldn’t watch the show or else, stop cursing them like you know what they feel.
Every person makes mistakes, small ones, big ones, unforgivable ones. Who are you to judge them?
Watch the show, praise mauli and hope she becomes better… Unfortunately everyone’s only interested in spouting curse words against nandini and Kunal which shows your mentality TBH
You’re mighty wrong my friend. People know the difference between reality and drama. I know a few are cursing the actors for taking up this role, it’s wrong. Most of the people are bashing the characters not the actors. Is it wrong to be involved in a drama? It’s really appalling the way Mauli was treated by the people she trusted the most. It’s the way the track was written that made no sense whatsoever. I mean Kunal fell in love with Mauli in college and married her out of love, when she became busy just for a few days to set up a surprise for him he felt neglected and saw his wife’s bf dancing in a wet transparent saree ;he fell in love with her? How is it love not lust? It’s not judging. It’s justifying affair as god created event. Why drag God into this shit? Does god tell people to murder people? Does he whisper into ears to start a war? Does he want people to be adulterer/ adulteress? Granted there are stories of god having two wives or excess of wives. But who wrote em? MAN right? You see people find reasons to justify their mistakes. If affairs are justified, stalking will also be justified. When is stalking ever a way of love? When is hurting your spouse mentally ever right? Especially if the spouse only has ever supported and loved you? If we keep on accepting the reasons the world will be filled with self entitled brats. This story will be well rooted in reality if it shows the emotional damage a person undergoes when his/her better half is cheating on em, It should show Mauli’s journey of moving forward in life in spite of betrayals she has faced. Now that’ll be a inspiring story to watch. But no, the makers in their quest for trps will throw in some bull$hit story arc of surrogacy between the couple. I mean how will the victim be able to talk to the betrayers after all these events? Nandini knew how affairs hurt but still went on with her affair with her bf’s husband even when she knew her bf would be broken. It’s loathsome. If nandini has an ounce of self respect she’d have tried to come out of her troubles independently (after receiving a little help to stand on her feet). If she needed help to heal her trauma there would’ve been a psychiatrist to help her along with her friend. I really don’t get how a woman will be able to trust another man so quickly that she jumps in bed with him? Indians can keep affairs to heal mental wounds but not visit a psychiatrist? SMH. But I should really be thankful to this serial don’t I? It states: Never trust anyone, in the end they may betray you.
I loved yesterday’s episode. Aditi nailed the episode she did a fantastic job I’m crushing over her it was so natural in whole episode it was only aditi nd Abhinav who did really good. The dialogue delivery of aditi was fantastic nd when she confronted kunal the direction was very good. Loved rajdeep his dialogue delivery is really good I loved him it was very funny. Aditi did award winning job she shud get best female actress award
Now it vl be interesting to see how the story folds
the actors were flawless!!
the screen space was only for the 4 main leads today..
the way mauli said, ‘mein sarpe utalethi hoon na’ was so… no words!! simply amazing…
everyday when they showed romance of kunal and nandhini, i used to be like, let the truth come infront of mauli and it happened… the makers are playing a sensitive issue… serials that start with some issue like this domestic violence, ema etc mostly drags a lot and ends boring..
i hope they take this serial in a different way
trust your parents….they’ll never break your heart
Actually I watched this serial first time only to see Mauli’s reaction…
I never feel like watching this shit show…
But I would say – Big Claps for Mauli?…Superb potraying all the emotions…
Kunal and Nandini call it love but it is not love it is lust…And if makers will try to justify this then the show should go off air…
Love just happens. It doesnt know any logic. Kunal nandini tried hard to stay away from each other…but they couldnt. Love is like that..! and this do happen in real world..! I am not justifying their act…but true love when it happens..it comes without logic and warning. Its just present and you cant deny it..! No one is wrong here..! all three characters are very good and pure…but they are just entangled in the deep layers of human emotions. Its amazing to watch this complexity of emotions and how its going to unfold.
Beautiful story of complex human emotions..!
Ya right!!! Am I the only one missing integrity here and love is not what’s been described here. Please stop glorifying what Nandani and Kunal have done. yuck!! It’s called BETRAYAL!! Nothing less than that. Poor Mauli has to pay the price of her kindness. I get the abused part but it would’ve been better if that Cinderella ( disgusting Nanda) has not proved Rajdeep right ( the most hated character) She has reiterated the fact that no one should try to be God and save others from their hell otherwise they’ll drag you in the worse living hell. And BTW Kunal is a loser who wants to be a hero saving Cinderella.
Yeah actually right but people can’t understand and judging them it’s so easy to judge but they are not thinking why kunal n nandini are doing this. First of all when kunal proposed nandini he told usko situation ke waare mai pata hai that means its true na koi confusion ya koi misconception nahi tha just love tha so I think don’t judge them
To fall in love is not in your control , but what you do with that feeling of love is in your control . Both Kunal and Nandani “fell in love”. i don’t believe that. Nandani fell for Kunal being her hero all the time and Kunal fell for Nandani because she was the damsel in distress .Mauli takes care of herself so this was different to him , and because of this difference Nandani could never love Kunal the way Mauli has loved him. Taking action with what they felt was completely and disgustingly low and wrong. nothing can justify their behavior and actions.
Actually…I wanna mention something…that Kuna said in this episode…that Mauli is strong n she won’t do anything to harm her…idk whether that means …? This is where he gets confidence to cheat his wife or she can bare anything as she is a strong person ? Poor Mauli?
As per spoilers two years leap and mauli will stay with dida and kunal with nandini. But if they really wish forgiveness from mauli they must not stay together and kunal must leave nandini and stay alone and nandini must leave kunal but if they stay together that means they don’t want to leave each other. They have no regrets.kunal has no fear of losing mauli. They just wanted to hide their relation from mauli nothing else.
Hey your guyz i foudn a really nice recap on some tumblr site here when searching look https://parmeshwari.tumblr.com/post/178068110427/silsila-badalte-rishton-ka-091318-episode
Think its okay
