As we read yesterday, actor Abhinav Shukla has filed a case against the makers of Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka for non payment of his dues. He was suddenly laid off in between his contract and was not made the payment even after several reminders.
He said in a statement that his contract with the makers was breached mid way and he was not even compensated for his work. Now according to the latest development in the case, Abhinav’s lawyer Suvigya Vidyarthi has revealed that the makers owe him 10 Lakh rupees. He told a leading portal, “The jury of CINTAA had come to a conclusion, which was a bit less to the actual amount which is due. It was more of a settlement. But the producers did not adhere to that as well. They are trying to pressurise my client through various means.”
As Abhinav claimed his contract was valid when he received a mail and was laid off overnight. As per the contract he should have been given one month’s notice before being axed out from the show. Vidyarthi told a tabloid that the producers had falsely told the channel that Abhinav is unavailable for shoot.
The case will be heard in the court in February, post the argument, an FIR will be filed.
