Hi everyone! I am back with something intersting fact on Ramayana.
Most of us know that in some versions of ramayan it is mention that Sita was the daughter of raavan. My grandfather told me that there is a book named “SITAYAN” by a maithali( language of north east Bihar where Sita is said to born) writer in the same language which mention the journey of Sita. The below mention article is from the same book.
Raavan was a great warrior, learner but due to overconfidence he became selfish and cruel. He takes tax from everyone even from sages. The sages who were unable to give the tax were said to give their blood as tax. Raavan personally store that blood from sages in a big pot. He store the pot in a very secret room. In that secret room no one was allowed to enter not even the Maharani Mandodari. No one excet Raavan knows what was inside that. He always take the keys of the room along with him.
One day fortunately he forget the keys and Mandodari found them. She opens the room with help of her servants. She found that big pot. She then get to know that it is the cruelity of raavan so she secretly order her servants to throw that pot far away.
The servants takes the pot along them and reach Mithila the country of Rajrishi janak. The servants were too tired of the journey that they kept that pot inside that soil and came back.
After that dy the soil of Mithila became barren and the crisis occur.
After about twelve years the guru of Rajrishi suggest to plough the land with a golden hal. The place chosen is now known as Sitamarhi. As Rajrishi start the second round the end known as Sit get attach o the pot and the cry was heard. As he take the pot out he find a baby in it. Her cry was so loud that the rain starts and the crisis ends.
Sita is known to have all the qualities by herself as she was born by the blood of Sages. So this was the story of Sita’s birth as mention in sitayana.
I hope you all like it . Please comment and tell me what you think of this article’s topic.
One more thing if anyone is intersted to watch siya ke ram again please watch it on Star Utsav aas Ramleela from 25th.

Wow nice info… I had never heard this story… and it seems to be intersting..
I also heard one story that Sita was born for Ravan and Mandodari.. and when she was born the astrologers said that she will be the cause for the death of Ravan.. so he decided to kill her and ordered the soldiers to throw on the sea… later sea mata gave Sita to bhooma devi… so when janak ploughs the land bhooma devi gave her to him..
I don’t know it is true or not… but I read it somewhere else..
And it is also said That Ravan burried Sita in the land of Mithila.. so she was born from there..
But I don’t know how far it is true…
Yes you are right padmaja. I also read it but I think bhoomi devi didn’t give it to janak but just accept her in her lap.
