The epi starts with Urmila staring Lakshman in anger. Lakshman acts innocent. Urmila picks up the pebble, bounces it again by the trees, it hits the trees on the shore and returns with same bounce.. Ram pulls siya behind a tree, the pebble bounces with the same tree again and then hits lakshman on his head. Urmila picks up another pebble, swings it off, it hits the shore.. THATS WHAT I HAD ASKED YOU TO DO..! She shouted bursting in anger, and her voice pierced lakshman’s ears. NOW DO YOU THINK YOU CAN CROSS GANGA RIVER IN A JUMP? She shouted, the lava of these words flowing through lakshman’s ears.. Lakshman asks Urmila to calm down. He plucks one flower from side bushes to calm Urmila while Urmila shouts DON’T PLUCK FLOWERS.. Lakshman says then what do I do??
Ram asks Sita are you fine. She says yes. He says we are walking since night, did you not get tired, you would have not walked so much before. She says I did not get tired as you are with me. Ram says Sita you are my strength, I m lucky to have you as my wife, my life got blessed getting you. They smile. Urmila says okay okay, now how to cross this river? You can’t jump, right? They look around and see a boat… Sita says there is no one here. Laxman says I will see. He calls out anyone there. A man comes and says they look Ram and Laxman, and Janak Nandini Sita. He runs saying Prabha and falls in Ram’s feet.
The man says I m blessed that Ram has come here. Ram smiles and holds him. The man says its great to see you, your sight makes one rid of all problems, I welcome you on Ganga ghat on behalf of everyone. He tells Sita that the land has become pure again by her arrival. He says our village is close, come, I will arrange your stay and food. Ram says I m glad seeing your love, but we are vanvaasi now, its our Dharm, we can’t enter any village and can’t accept any food provided and consumed by families, we have to have food as per vanvaas rules. The man says I understood, you don’t want to come to our house, as we are poor fisherman, you are Ayodhya’s prince, we are fishermen, why will you come to our house, I heard Ram does not differentiate between rich and poor, but its truth that no one is there in world who accepts us. He cries. Ram holds him and says friend Kewat…..
Ram hugs the boatman…… The man gets glad. Ram says I did not say we won’t have food, I just said we can’t accept food which families/settled villagers consume, we can have food consumed by vanvaasi. The man says fine, I will arrange that, you take rest till then. Boatman brings food.Ram says this food is enough. The man says I will get more of it, this is not enough. He goes. Sita smiles seeing Ram. Ram asks what happened. Sita says I did not know whom I love, the world loves him so much, their devotion and love for you is much, I m glad. Lakshmila hear them and smile. Ram says seeing their love and belief, even I m shocked, this makes me go ahead to do my duty, my foremost duty gets high because of their love. They smile.
Urmila asks boatman to leave them across the ganga river. She asks will you drop us across the river, or do you have any other wish. The man says sure, that’s my work but… Laxman asks what but.. Sita asks him to say. The man says I m hesitant to say, I can’t make Prabha Ram sit in my boat. Laxman asks him does he know what is he saying, what do you want, do you want anything else than our love to drop us across the river. The man says you can take my life, but I can’t make Ram sit in my boat. Lakshman shouts. Urmila says can’t you stay calm in any situation like Jijashri does? Ram asks Laxman to wait, I will talk to him. Ram asks the man will he not make him sit in the boat, then how will he make them cross Ganga. The man says I heard that by your touch, Mata Ahilya became a beautiful woman from a mere stone, I m afraid that the boat can become woman by your step/touch of feet, what will happen then, there is one way, you make me hold your feet, only then I can make you sit in the boat. Ram smiles. Ram asks if my step won’t change the boat into a beautiful woman, it will be good that you hold my feet. The man thanks him and falls to his feet. Ram smiles…The man washes Ram’s feet with water.
Lakshmila and Sita look on and smile. Urmila says if you stayed calm he would’ve been washing your feet as well. Lakshman says can’t you stay without taunting me? Ram holds the boatman’s face and wipes his tears. He says I m indebted to your selfless love and devotion, and hugs him. The man gets glad. Laxman asks the man can Ram sit in his boat now, is there any doubt now, or you want to wash my feet, to clear Urmilas doubt? The man says I will make Ram sit without any doubt now. Ram smiles.The man asks Ram, Laxman, Urmila and Sita to come… they all get seated in the boat. The man starts rowing the boat.
The man stops the boat at the other side of the boat. He asks Ram to come. Ram holds his hand and says the love and service you gave us is incomparable, I m very much impressed and glad. The man touches Ram’s eyes to his eyes. Sita says for your selfless love and devotion, accept this ring. The man says Mata, you are making me stranger in one moment, Bhakt’s life is successful by getting a chance to serve you all, such person does not need anything else, I have become world’s happiest person at this moment. Sita asks him will he not accept as a gift. The man says your blessing is my gift. Ram says Sita, we can’t win over his love. He thanks the man for his help. He asks him to allow them to walk ahead on their way. The man greets them. Ram, Sita and lakshmila proceed.
Urmila asks whats this sweet sound. Lakshman says this is the place where two rivers meet. Urmila asks is this the sound of their union. Lakshman says its union of their love, Yamuna joins Ganga here, love united two souls for many births, same way like you sacrificed your happiness and decided to come to van with me, you accepted my happiness and sorrow, your love and sacrifice has tied my love in a sweet musical sound too. They smile.
Manthra takes out a bright shining gem and looks up say the night sky. She says two more nights..two more.. Then my revenge will be fulfilled..on the night of full moon (poornima) creatures(aliens) from mangal(mars) planet will fulfil my revenge..! Rays emit from the gem..
In the forest
A rishi calls out Ram….. ram says sorry, but I did not identify you. Rishi says I m Rishi Bharadwaj, I got to know about you. Ram greets him from his, Sita and Laxman’s side. Rishi blesses him and asks him to take rest in his ashram. Ram says its our good luck, and they go with that Rishi. Ram, Sita and Laxman come to the ashram. They stop seeing an ill deer. Ram and Sita sit to see the ill deer. Sita asks what happened to it. Rishi says we found it in ill state, he got away from his family, I think its sorrow, we did our best to save it, I think it won’t be alive. Urmila says I can’t see its sorrow, we have to do something to save its life…
In ayodhya
Dasharath takes Ram’s name. Ram walks in… Dasharath hallucinates and sees Ram. Ram sits and rests Dasharath in his lap. He cries and Dasharath gets smile seeing his son. Ram holds Dasharath’s hand and keeps on his heart.
Ram closes his eyes and cries. Dasharath’s hand falls. Kaushalya and Sumitra cry. Sita and Ram cry seeing the deer dead. The deer dies in Ram’s lap. Kaushalya and Sumitra shake Dasharath and shout for help. Sita’s sisters come. Kaushalya asks them to call Raj Vaidya soon. She asks Dasharath to open eyes. Raj Vaidya, Sumanta and Guru Vashisht come there. Raj Vaidya checks Dasharath and signs no. Guru Vashisht cries. They all get shocked and cry for Dasharath’s death. Lord idol is shown and then Ram is seen crying in the ashram.
Everyone cry for Dasharath. Sita says deer would have felt alone even when everyone was here, because it wanted to see someone else, we could not help. Ram says birth happens, relations join and then those whom we love, we don’t want to get away from them, we forget that birth’s fate is just death, and after death there is no possibility of reunion, even after knowing this, none has any solution to get saved of this, be it humans or animals, we can just keep patience thinking that the person/animal has left the worldly problems and got peace. Ram stays composed, yet experiencing such strong emotions of sorrow.
Shruthkirti cries and runs to Kaikeyi. Kaikeyi asks what happened. Shruthkirti says Pita ji couldn’t bear the sorrow. Kaikeyi says I know, he is crying in son’s love, he will be fine, when Bharat becomes king, he will understand his decision is right. Shruthkirti says no Mata, Pita ji has left his soul….. Kaikeyi and Bharat get shocked. Kaikeyi recalls Dasharath’s words that just she will be reason of his death. Kaikeyi cries and says Maharaj. Bharat says there’s no need of crying for you, you’re the cause of his death…!
