“Enjoy at the meet and be home soon. I’ll be waiting. Drive carefully and don’t be grumpy to anyone there. Love you.” Sanskar couldn’t help but smile at the message from his sweet Angel but it soon turned into a half-hearted, professional smile that he had practised from years as an older man approached him.
“Congratulations Mr. Maheshwari. Another successful project. I must say you sure know the tricks of business world.” An old associate of his, congratulated, grinning down at him widely.
“Well, thank you Mr. Sharma. I heard Sharma Enterprise shined in their new venture.”
The world of business is all about professional gain and tactics so a bit of courtesy won’t hurt. After sometime his companion excused himself while Sanskar observed his surrounding. The host did well in terms of decoration with gold theme.
“Sanskar Maheshwari right? I’m Shreya Tondon. Congrats for the new project.” Sanskar looked ahead to see a girl in her mid twenties looking at him seductively.
“Thanks.” He replied curtly, as he pretended not to see the hand forwarded in his direction for him to shake.
Not bothered by the quite blatant rejection, the girl continued, “So what a handsome man like you doing here alone? I can keep you company you know.” She smirked at him while Sanskar was having a hard time keeping his anger at bay.
“For your kind information, I’m engaged.” He said moving his hand up so the lady could see his engagement ring. “So, with all due respect…No Thank You.”
The girl raised a brow at his answer, refusing to back down. “She isn’t here, is she? We can have some quality time together. Care to dance?” She asked, a sultry smile playing on her lips.
“Once again.. No Thank You. Wait a minute!! Mr. Khanna!!” Sanskar called his business partner, beckoning him to come over.
“Mr. Khanna this is…What was your name again?” The girl looked insulted at this.
“Shreya. Shreya Tondon.”
“So Ms. Tondon this is my partner Ryan Khanna. I’m sure he can give you company. He is rich, alone and INTERESTED.” Saying so, he walked away giving her a sardonic smile while the girl avoided his gaze, clearly embarassed.

“Hello.” Ragini greeted distractedly, sitting crisscrossed on the bed as she happily munched on her favorite chocolate ice-cream, watching her favourite show.
Bored with the platonic conversation with the business moguls who did nothing other than bragging about their so called achievements, Sanskar decided to call Ragini. Oh how desperately he wants the small get together to end so that he can leave for his mansion.
“What are you doing Princess?”
“Cupy!!” Ragini yelled in excitement with a bright smile on her face and Sanskar couldn’t help but smile too.
As the entrepreneurs looked at him smiling like a lost puppy while he talked on his phone, they instantly knew who the caller would be. Only one person is able to get The Sanskar Maheshwari to smile like that. Ragini Suryavanshi. A sweet, innocent girl who have the infamous CEO wrapped around her little finger without even trying.
“Guess what?” She continued excitedly not giving him the time to respond. “I’m eating chocolate ice-cream. It’s so yummy. When will you come back? Wait you’re not upset with me right?” She questioned with a frown, pouting sadly. Sanskar opened his mouth to question why would he be upset but the jittery girl cut him again before he could speak. “I mean I ate ice-cream without you. But it’s not my fault though. The ice-cream was calling for me. It would’ve been bad to leave it like that right?” She questioned innocently and he chuckled at her excuse, shaking his head in amusement. Could she be more adorable.
“No problem baby. I’m not mad at you but don’t eat too much okay? You catch cold easily.” He told sternly.
“Okay. Come home soon okay? Love you.”
“Love you too.” With that he hanged up the call eagerly waiting for the get together to be over.

“This one?”
“No!!”
“Please?”
“No!!”
“Why don’t you wanna watch it?” Ragini asked grumpily with a frown on her face.
“I just don’t okay? We can watch a batman movie.” Sanskar suggested trying to change the topic.
“No.” Ragini told stubbornly. “What’s the problem with this one?” She asked with her arms crossed in front of her chest.
“Because it has that stupid actor in it.” Sanskar replied irritatingly.
“He is not stupid.” Ragini narrowed her eyes at him as her fiancee called her favourite actor stupid.
“He is. He is ugly too. You shouldn’t watch his movie.”
“Is not!!” Ragini exclaimed angrily.
“He is.”
“He is not. Don’t talk about him like that or else…”
“Else what?” Sanskar asked smirking, raising a brow at her in amusement.
“Or else this.” Ragini muttered pulling his nose like a mother would do when her child would act stubborn.
“Oww. Jeez!! No need to act violet lady.” Sanskar complained rubbing his nose.
“Then don’t call him that.” She retorted back defiantly.
“Fine.” Sanskar complied dejectedly getting up from bed and Ragini did a happy little dance.
“Angel!!” Sanskar called out to her before completely exiting their bedroom.
“What?” Ragini asked confused.
“You know what? He is STUPID!!” Sanskar yelled sprinting out of the room as soon as possible.
“Cupy!!! How dare you?” Ragini yelled chasing after him with a pillow in her hand to hit him.
Ramu Kaka couldn’t help but chuckle at their antics as the adorable couple ran through the mansion yelling as Ragini tried to chase after Sanskar while he teased her about her favourite actor.

“Do we really have to?” Ragini questioned sadly. She wanted nothing more than to spend the evening with her fiancee, cuddled on the bed as they watched movie or read a book or something, anything but this party.
“I know you don’t want to go but we have to attend the party Princess. It’s important.” Sanskar informed buttoning up his black coat. He himself isn’t too thrilled to attend the party but it’s important to kick start his new mega project so they would have to be there.
“Okay.” She complied dejectedly.
****/////
Looking up, Sanskar’s breath caught in his throat.
Beautiful…
Clad in a silver embroidered navy blue gown which flared wide below, he couldn’t take his eyes off her.
“My baby fairy.” He cooed placing a feathery kiss on her temple as she blushed shyly, nuzzling his chest to hide her blush causing him to smile adoringly at her cuteness.
“Come on.” He prodded as they left for the party.
Arriving at the venue, everyone’s head turned in their direction to look at the stunning couple. Not liking the way the men stared at his Angel, he possessively snaked an arm around her petite waist crushing her to his side.
“Don’t talk to to anyone unless I tell you to.” Sasnakr whispered sternly in her ear.
“But-”
“Listen to me.” He ordered living no room for argument.
“Okay.” She nodded meekly. She hate it when he talk like that. It always scares her.
Sanskar sighed looking at her. “Just listen me. Alright princess?” He questioned but this time more gently.
She nodded her head in reply.
“That’s my good girl.” He whispered pecking her forehead.
Like always he took a sip of drink first before handing it to her, to make sure it’s not tampered with and is non-alcoholic.
Sanskar clenched his fist tightly in anger as he watched a man standing in front of his Angel grinning seductively at her who just stared at him innocently unaware of his intentions.
‘I just went away for 5 minutes to make an important announcement and this b*****d has the guts to approach her.’ He clenched his jaw as his anger flared up the more he watched them.
“May I have a dance with you?” The man asked grinning widely at Ragini who was staring at him blankly not knowing what to do.
Before she could answer a hand wrapped around her waist pulling her to a hard frame. “No. You cannot. The only person My Fiancee would dance with is ME.” He spitted harshly causing Ragini to flinch at his tone.
“Okay. Maybe next time.” With that the young man walked away.
“NEVER.” Sanskar muttered under his breath, tightening his hold on her.

“How is my Princess doing?” Her ears perked up at the familiar voice as a wide smile stretched onto her lips.
“Bhai!!” Ragini exclaimed happily. “How are you?” She questioned excitedly.
“I’m fine babysis. Sanskar is taking good care of you right? Oh, what am I even asking? That man is completely smitten with you.” Her brother teased and she blushed, pink dusting her cheeks.
“It has been so long to see you. Why don’t you come here. I miss you a lot.” Arjun suggested.
“Yeah. That’s a good idea. I’ll come soon.” She agreed.
“Okay then. I’ve a meeting right now. Will talk to you later princess. Take care.” With that he ended the call.
“What got you so excited bunny?” Sanskar asked curiously staring at her.
“Arjun Bhai called just now. Bhai was asking me to come home to meet him. It’ll be so much fun.” She gushed with a bright grin on her lips. “I can go right?”
“No.”
“W-what?”
